(2) The forum omposed of representtives of Memer Sttes, the industries onerned nd non-governmentl orgnistions promoting environmentl protetion, estlished y Commission Deision of 16 My 2011 ( 2 ), provided the Commission on 4 Deemer 2014 with its opinion on the proposed ontent of the BAT referene doument for the non-ferrous metls industries. Tht opinion is pulily ville. (3) The BAT onlusions set out in the Annex to this Deision re the key element of tht BAT referene doument. In prtiulr, these BAT onlusions over the following proesses nd tivities: primry nd seondry prodution of non-ferrous metls; the prodution of zin oxide from fumes during the prodution of other metls; the prodution of nikel ompounds from liquors during the prodution of metl; the prodution of silion-lium (CSi) nd silion (Si) in the sme furne s the prodution of ferro-silion; the prodution of luminium oxide from uxite prior to the prodution of primry luminium, where this is n integrl prt of the prodution of the metl; the reyling of luminium slt slg; the prodution of ron nd/or grphite eletrodes. These BAT onlusions do not ddress the following tivities or proesses: Iron ore sintering. This is overed in the BAT onlusions for Iron nd Steel prodution.
