This role will also contribute to the administration of approved HR policies, development of HR strategy and effective provision of HR administration and support functions and participate in other adhoc HR projects or work streams. 3 KEY TASKS EXPECTED OUTCOMES Provide policy and procedural advice and support on HR Matters In conjunction with the HR Managers, provide practical operational support and advice to Operations and RC Managers in order to contribute to the effective provision of HR Services across the Provider Group Assist in identifying learning and development needs for RC Managers and in conjunction with the HR Manager, ensure appropriate plans are developed and implemented to meet those needs. Assist with staff recruitment and induction programmes and the development of these processes. Ensure that the appropriate level of HR Payroll and Recruitment services is accessible to the hiring manager. Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with healthalliance and all corporate HR team members. Managers and staff are provided with appropriate and timely HR advice and intervention. HR Strategy and Planning Contribute to the development of HR strategy and planning. Promotion and support of occupational health and safety. Work with Occupational Health and Safety group to ensure compliance with health and safety and the active development and promotion of a healthy environment. Managers are supported in developing Health and Safety strategies and implementing plans for existing services and for new services as they are established. Managers and staff are aware of and meet, their obligations to ensure the health and safety of the working environment and become familiar with risk management as an operational concept. Statutory requirements are met. Management of change Work with managers, staff and unions on the effective management of change and contribute to the building of a strong organisational infrastructure. 4 POSITION TITLE: HR Advisor PERSON SPECIFICATION Minimum Qualification Appropriate tertiary qualification or related experience Preferred Human Resources qualification Experience 3+ years as an HR practitioner Experience of supporting HR policy and process Knowledge and experience of working with collective agreements and/or MECA agreements Skills A positive manner, flexible, able Knowledge to influence without conflict Behaviour Ability to interpret and evaluate diverse and complex information Ability to write formal papers, discussion documents and business cases for senior management and Board.
