1 This year marks the twelfth anniversary of the nation s largest non-profit motorcycle rally Bikes, Blues & BBQ. This year we are expecting attendance to exceed 400,000 including motorcyclists, barbecue enthusiasts and blues fans from all over the nation and around the world. WHY SPONSOR BIKES, BLUES & BBQ? Bikes, Blues & BBQ (BBB) is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This charity-driven motorcycle rally in the heart of the scenic Ozark Mountain Region offers the best in ride routes, blues music and barbecue. It is the largest rally to benefit nonprofits in the country, raising approximately $600,000 for local charities since its inception in Your contribution is tax deductible, and the rally s focus on charitable giving is an opportunity to generate positive news stories and announcements for your company. With more than 400,000 participants in 2010, Harley-Davidson deemed BBB the fourth-largest motorcycle rally in the country, rivaling those in Sturgis and Daytona. BBB is a family-friendly event. A study conducted by the University of Arkansas Center for Business and Economic Research estimated an economic impact of $35-$50 million for Northwest Arkansas and the rest of the state. In addition to motorcyclists, BBB is a destination for barbecue enthusiasts. BBB is home to the Arkansas State BBQ Championship, which is sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. This event is one of only 25 Kingsford-brand charcoal competitions held nationwide to determine a $20,000 winner. Contestants come from around the country to participate. Nationally known blues acts will also draw crowds of music fans from Arkansas and surrounding areas. While growing at a rate of roughly 20 percent annually, BBB officials anticipate that attendance will grow to over 1 million within the next five years.
