1 TOWN OF Z. 1_ InI 0 1 e 1 A RESOLUTION APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATION CUP -04 FOR WILCON ENERGY WHEREAS, Wilcon Enegy, LLC has submitted a land use application fo a Conditional Use Pemit to install a popane gas tank in the industial zone of the Tanspotation Chaacte Aea; and WHEREAS, The Town of Mintun Town Council is commissioned with cetain powes and duties contained in the Mintun Municipal Code Sec ; and WHEREAS, public notice was given pusuant to Mintun Municipal Code Sec ; and WHEREAS, on May 13, 2015, the Planning Commission held a public heaing on the application pusuant to Mintun Municipal Code Section and appoved the application with conditions; and WHEREAS, on May 20, 2015 the Town Council held a public heaing on the application pusuant to Mintun Municipal Code Section ; and WHEREAS, pusuant to Mintun Municipal Code Section , the Town Council makes the following findings: That the poposed location of the use is in accodance with the puposes of Chapte 16 of the Mintun Municipal Code, the Community Plan and the puposes of the zone in which the site is located; That the poposed location of the use. and the conditions unde which it would be opeated o maintained will not be detimental to the public health, safety, o welfae, o mateially injuious to popeties o impovements in the vicinity; That the poposed use will comply with each of the applicable povisions of Chapte 16 of the Mintun Municipal Code. My company, Wilcon Enegy LLC is a cetified popane convesion company, whee we take vehicles that ae cuently unning on gasoline o diesel and convet them to un on popane ( autogas). All of the convesion systems that I will be using ae EPA Cetified, which means that it does not void the manufactues o extended waanty on any vehicle. Auto - gas is a geen, clean -buning altenative fuel, which enables vehicles to educe thei cabon footpint by up to 35%, undego less maintenance, fewe oil changes and extended engine life. I will be using PERS ( Pofessional Emegency Resouce Sevices), which is a 24 hou emegency esponse company to monito my equipment. Cuently the site is owned by Union Pacific and is only used by people looking to go fishing on the ive. With the size we ae looking fo ( oughly 25x25), thee will be vey little impact on that site. Additionally, efueling vehicles though this dispense, will be quicke than using conventional gas sevice stations. We ae tying to bing an envionmentally fiendly fuel souce into the aea to help fleet -ownes in the valley educe thei cabon footpint, while suppoting local businesses. We feel that this location would be a pefect fit, as thee is easy access fom I-70, and with the safety ecod of autogas dispenses and the numeous state safety egulations, we will be able to make this a vey simple and clean poject to get accomplished. Fo emegency puposes, these dispenses ae equipped with emegency shut -offs, vehicle " pull- away" hoses and the tanks which will be on the vehicles themselves ae equied to be equipped with automatic stop fill valves, so thee is NO POSSIBLE way to ove fill these tanks, simply, the only way that any fuel can be dispensed is to have the hose attached to the vehicle. Along with the industy standad safety equiements, we Wilcon Enegy ae equied to pefom monthly inspections on all of the hoses and emegency pevention devices. Popane autogas fo vehicles is one of the cleanest and safest foms of fuel that thee is and I would love the oppotu- nity to be able to demonstate this to the town.
