6 Harley-Davidsn Thailand Entities 6 The Thailand Harley-Davidsn factry cntains 3 separate entities, which can be viewed as separate "cmpanies". Thailand has multiple Ship T lcatins and may have a different Bill T lcatin like Yrk and Kansas City which als use ff-site warehusing. Bill T Ship T Each Entity has ne Bill t address that may nt be the same as the ship t lcatin. The exact legal H-D Thailand cmpany name, entity number, and Bill t address must be used n the cmmercial invice, packing list, and payment invice. Refer t the 862 EDI implementatin guide and Appendix A n H-DSN t determine which entity and address t Bill t. Each entity has mre than ne ship t address that may nt be the same as the Bill t lcatin. The exact legal H-D Thailand cmpany name, entity number, and address must be used n the cmmercial invice, packing list, B10 master label and payment invice. Refer t the 862 EDI implementatin guide and Appendix A n H-DSN t determine which entity and lcatin t ship t. Please see the fllwing slide fr a summary f Ship t and Bill t lcatins by entity. Failure t use the exact legal H-D Thailand cmpany name, entity, and address will result in shipments ging int NCM r quarantine. Suppliers have 24 hurs t prvide updated cmpliant dcumentatin. 31 Definitins 31 ASN A dcument sent t H-D either thrugh EDI r H-DSN that prvides detailed infrmatin abut a pending delivery. B10 Cntainer Label (3S) A label intended t shw what is in an individual cartn r cntainer. B10 Master Label (9S) A label intended t shw what is in either the full pallet r full shipment. If shipment fits n ne pallet then master label shuld reflect entire shipment (pallet). This label is used t receive the shipment. Cmmercial Invice (CI) A legal dcument required by custms t determine the true value f the imprted gds, fr assessment f duties and taxes. Entity The term used t describe the H-D Thailand legal cmpany registered under the privilege f the Free Trade Zne. Packing List (PL) A dcument that includes details abut the cntents f a package. Payment (Sales) Invice A dcument that suppliers send t Accunts Payable t initiate payment fr gds shipped. Reference Number Packing list number Handling Unit (Serial Number) 15-digit unique identifier n the B10 Master Label used fr receiving and ASN.
