PRIMARY PURPOSE OF ROLE - Cnduct analysis f quantitative and qualitative data t undertake event evaluatin n the visitr impact delivered by DNSW supprted events. - Cnduct analysis f quantitative data t evaluate Event KPIs as required. - Implementatin f DNSW events research prcesses and prgrams, including develpment f nline and face-t-face surveys, and crwd cunting with the events research team, external research suppliers and ther external stakehlders. - Analyse event research data t prduce reprts in an accurate and timely manner. - Cnduct setup and prcurement-t-pay activities as required fr Event research. 3. This includes nline, face t face, and crwd cunting methdlgies. research is cnducted in a timely and accurate manner includes: Directly liaise with event partners t crdinate research prgrams in rder t Prvide event evaluatin results Event Research setups, Pst event analysis, evaluate events against KPIs as established in the cntract between DNSW and event partners. This includes attending internally held cntract deliverables meetings with Event Owners which are facilitated by the Events Develpment team. within agreed timeline f receiving cmplete event data frm the Event Owner via the Event Develpment team Meetings with Directly liaise with the Events Research team and external stakehlders t Prduce a Perfrmance against Event Owners. facilitate the implementatin f primary research prgrams as necessary t evaluate events and campaigns. Gather, clean and analyse event evaluatin data, cllected via quantitative and qualitative methdlgies. Prduce visitr impact reprts and prduce (in cllabratin with ther Events Research staff) perfrmance KPI reprts in a timely and accurate manner. Prvide input and guidance (in cllabratin with ther Events Research staff) t event partners, external stakehlders and research service prviders t ensure cllectin f representative data and cntinuus imprvement f prcesses and methdlgy. Cnduct set-up and prcurement-t-pay activities as required fr Event Research. Wrk under the guidance f the Senir Analyst fr methds and research prcess and additinally with the manager re prcedure and plicy. Prvide reprts n specific event perfrmance, measurement f cntractual KPIs, survey results and data fr media releases as requested. Participate in methdlgical develpment and review activities as required. KPI s reprt fr each allcated event where a KPI reprt is cntractually required. Event Research Analyst Page 2 f 8

Assist in the reprting f research results t event stakehlders, partners and internally. This includes checking the wrk f ther team members. Prvide a range f ther ad hc research, infrmatin and reprts t supprt effective decisin making, as required. Wrk with external research suppliers t ensure value fr mney fr research services is prvided. Cntinual input f ideas fr new systems and prcesses t maximise efficiencies in analysis and delivery f results. Create and draft manuals and prcess dcuments fr review relating t tasks undertaken by the Events Assessment and Reprting team. All issues regarding internal and external relatinships raised and reslved prmptly in timely fashin and dcument as required. Ensure nging psitive relatinships with internal and external stakehlders are maintained and fster new relatinships All internal and external reprts accurate and delivered t deadline. Adherence t budget. N greater than up t 5% variance. Nil audit r cmpliance issues. Adhere t all Destinatin NSW Plicies and Prcedures. Apprpriate strage f all files and dcumentatin maintained. Ensure value fr mney achieved frm research suppliers. All Half-Year and Yearly Perfrmance reviews cmpleted, reviewed and discussed the Manager, Event Assessment; including training needs, areas fr develpment, ptential career pprtunities and mtivatin; by January 31st and June 30th. Balancing a range f cmpeting pririties and multiple prjects in a cnstantly changing envirnment and wrking within very tight decisin making deadlines impsed by Gvernment and industry stakehlders. Being strngly custmer-fcused and frequently able t priritise and manage multiple tasks/demands set by senir management including matters with critical turnarund times required by clients and Gvernments. Undertakes research and makes decisins in cnsultatin with clleagues, event partners, research suppliers and ther external stakehlders, relating t client needs, prgress f prjects and prvisin f advice. 8. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS Tertiary qualificatin in a relevant field. EXPERIENCE A minimum f tw-three years quantitative research experience, including cllectin, analysis and reprting f data and cmprehensive knwledge f quantitative and qualitative research methdlgies. Demnstrated experience in executing market research prjects, including wrking with external research suppliers, questinnaire develpment, research analysis and presentatin. Demnstrated experience in wrking cllabratively with clleagues and building and maintaining effective relatinships with research suppliers and ther external stakehlders. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Prject management skills with the ability t manage multiple prjects and tasks. Knwledge f bth quantitative and qualitative research methdlgies. Advanced Excel including Pivt tables, Wrd and PwerPint, SPSS (r ther research package), and research survey sftware. Ability t meet tight research and reprting timeframes. Demnstrates initiative and prblem slving capabilities. Strng research reprt writing and presentatin skills. Strng wrk ethic with an emphasis n accuracy and attentin t detail.
