2 Who We Are During the past seven decades we have developed a reputation as strategic and creative thinkers who use technology to successfully solve problems and create solutions. Brophy Engraving Company was founded in 1939 by Howard M. Brophy who provided artwork and printing plates to local businesses. The company evolved into the printing of catalogs and yearbooks. By the 1960s, Brophy had become a recognized industry leader in high quality pre-press advertising for global ad agencies who were looking for world-class results. In the 80s, services were expanded to include early CGI imagery, design and production for corporations, as well as ad agencies and art studios. Today, we continue our commitment as a full service company, offering strategic print and digital services to make our clients successful. We are dedicated to providing world-class results for our clients advertising, marketing, merchandising and media objectives. Howard M. Brophy

How We re Green Green Policy Brophy is committed to reducing our environmental impact and promoting the environmental responsibility of our clients. We take pride in recycling as much as possible.

7 How We re Green Green Policy Brophy is committed to reducing our environmental impact and promoting the environmental responsibility of our clients. We take pride in recycling as much as possible. We recycle the materials we work with and strive to reduce our overall consumption. We also offer a number of environmentally friendly options for our clients. Green Process Brophy uses water soluble inks and press cleaning solvents in our printing process. In addition, we recycle all of our paper. Green Products We offer a variety of ways for our clients to reduce their carbon footprint or use more environmentally friendly processes, procedures and product offerings. Our remote job proofing system, Insite, means that you can view your project remotely in real time, without gas being consumed to review the project onsite. Also large files can be uploaded to or downloaded from our ftp server. This saves our clients valuable time and money. Additionally we offer post-consumer recycled paper and paper that has been made in a Carbon Neutral manner and is nationally certified. We have many different fiber choices that allow for creative as well as responsible solutions. This brochure was printed using Productolith 100 lb. Text that is made of 10% Post Consumer recycled fiber using chlorine free (ECF) pulp from timber in managed forests. Green Clients Brophy works with businesses focused in the green sector, including those concentrating on biofuel distribution and emission reduction systems.
