14 EXTRACTION PROCESSES AND CONDITIONING (PILOT PLANT) Development of methodologies of drying for different industry needs Three technologies of drying are the subject of the R&D and optimization for different types of extracts and substrates: freeze-drying, zeodratation, spray drying and fluidized bed drying. Development of a technique of drying to obtain a moisture content of 1.5 to 1.0% w/w for a proteins marine extract.
