1 TAIEX Regional Workshop on Biomedical Engineering: Biomedical Signals organised in co-operation with Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Venue: TCB, Banja Luka 26th 27th February 2018 Beneficiaries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania,the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo*,Montenegro,Serbia ETT *This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with UNSCR 1244/1999 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo Declaration of Independence.
2 Aim of the workshop: The aim of the workshop is to present the current state-of-the-art of technical expertise in the field of biomedical signal processing by EU experts in order to enhance local capacity for education, the research and innovation in this field. Participants of the workshop are representing relevant regional public institutions; representatives from university departments offering study programmes related to biomedical signal processing; and representatives of professional associations related to biomedical engineering. Participans are from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Kosovo*. In addition, the workshop has objective to strengthen the relationships between regional institutions and enable future cooperation.

The latest research results regarding biomedical signals are to be presented. 12:00 13:15 Lunch break 13:15 15:00 RECORDING, ACQUISITION AND PROCESSING OF BIOMEDICAL SIGNALS The aim of this session is to explain the latest advancements in biomedical signal acquisition and processing.
