Commodity Costing/Payment minimizes the complexity and effort of managing commodities by allowing companies to acquire, receive into inventory, cost, and pay vendors for commodity goods. Co-Product/By-Product provides multiple ways that bakeries can properly manage the production and costing of co-products and by-products from one or multiple inputs without forcing additional work, including things such as managing breadcrumbs and frozen dough. Lot Tracking/Tracing both forward and backward, from raw material receipts through sales of Lot Freshness allows for the calculation of a Days-To-Fresh, Best If Used By, or a Sell By Date. Quality Control built in and completely integrated, for raw materials, work-in-process and finished goods. Built in industry specific quality checks, such as: Allergens, Nutritionals and Properties. Native integration with Genesis/Nutrition is provided allowing bakeries to save money by eliminating the need to send items to a lab. Labeling natively integrated Automated Data Collection (ADC) providing flexibility and ease when creating labels, including the ability to print labels as items move around the production floor. Recipe Management dynamically size batches that incorporate your preferred units of measure ingredients, process instructions and other values. Formulas a version of Production BOMs, Formulas, are set up to be batchable to different sizes through different WIPs. A formula page is included that is specifically set up to enter a formula at a certain weight, but allow you to rescale if needed, allowing bakeries to maintain BOMs that shift sizes based on capacity of mixing equipment. Versioning based on usage is also available. Packaged BOMS manage different components of a recipe and alleviate the need to do complex math in the middle of production run. Production Scheduling record and review production data before posting, ensuring that raw materials, packaging, and intermediate inventories will be allocated accurately and in a timely manner, and that properly finished goods become available for production.
