TRADE CONTRACT: Description DIVISION 2- SITEWORK: Site work (Scheduled to start September 18 th, 2017) A Electrical (Preparation) B Plumbing (Site) C Excavation D Site components DIVISION 6- ELECTRICAL Electrical / Stage Lighting / Audio / Video / Sound *Note: Please refer to the Drawing Set for Illustration of text. DIVISION 2- SITEWORK: Approved Site Excavation and contractor must be able to work with all other trades on 1

2 scheduling. A. Electrical (Preparation) 1. Power/Data Trench: To run power to 36 Golden Street thru the existing stage house, starting at the power supply panel at the North East, running along the wall to and out the rear door /wall towards the North West corner of the existing stage. And option (Temporary re routing power and telephone / data cables) running from the existing two telephone poles on the sidewalk in front of 36 Golden Street to the North East corner of the existing building at 36 Golden Street. Contact owner McLaughlin Companies, LLC. For scheduling, and Eversource Power for details. 100 L.F. x (3x) 3 PVC conduits for Power/ Tele/Data are expected for this installation. An existing PVC power conduit running from the east corner of the stage to the existing light and sound truss, will need to be moved, diverted and re-routed leading to a power/date transfer box that then leads to (4) new columns of the Amphitheater to be constructed. Contact Geoffrey Williams, Stage lighting consultant to synchronize power, lighting, video, data and sound requirements. 3. Additional power and data conduits will need to be added leading from the transfer box to the base of each of the (4) columns. Approx. 30 per column of PVC run.) Consult with Architect and Stage lighting consultant, electrical contractor, or architect before placement. Holtzman Design (860) B. Plumbing (Site) 1. The (4) new 20 ft. Galvanized Steel Columns will have Stainless Steel Rainwater Catch Basins at the top of each new structure (at 30 ft. height) connected to PVC conduit drains to collect rain water. Approx. (4) 6 inch PVC conduit drain assemblies will need to be attached to the (4) Stainless Steel Rainwater Roof Catch basins. (At the Roof height of 30 ) (JR-Smith Stainless Steel 9680 or similar. Contact Chris, rylant@jrsmith.com ( , or ) 2781 Gunter Park, Montgomery, AL ). Roof Catch basins shall be coordinated with Pre-fabricated Glass components, 2

3 and synchronized for installation by glass riggers and plumbing contractor. (1) The (4) Roof Catch basins will lead to the base of the column to attach to a Storm Water Infiltration Trench located in the ground in the middle of the open space in front of the existing stage. (See CLA site engineer drawings for reference. And Contact CLA Engineer Ellen Bartlett for further questions or information.) (2) (3) Of the other Roof Catch basins will connect to each other at the 20 height at a minimum slope of ¼ / ft. and lead to the North East corner of the stage (closest to the stage) to a water runoff and down spout that will lead to a Storm Water Infiltration Trench, as well as overflow to Golden Street (For 100 year flood requirement). (Also, See CLA site engineer drawings for reference. And Contact CLA Engineer Ellen Bartlett for further questions or information.) (3) An Ice Dam electrical system will need to be added inside the PVC conduits leading from the (4) Roof drain assemblies, down the columns and thru any PVC conduits from beginning to end of each line to prevent freezing and ice during the winter months. (Contact: The Ice Dam Company , or Located at 1515 S. 5 th St., Hopkins, MN Steve Kul, or Brook Budziak (Or similar Company) for further advice and installation details). C. Excavation In preparation for the (4) Main Structural Columns, (4) 10-0 x 10-0 x 5-6 deep, footings will be excavated at approx /4 on center. (Note, parts of an existing 3

4 sidewalk at the North East corner adjacent to the current restrooms, will need to saw cut as part of excavation, as well as a corner of the existing stage to be saw cut, and steel rebar pin connection to new footing installed at base of the new column footing at the South West corner of the existing stage. In addition to these footings, (1) Storm Water Infiltration Trench, of approx L.F. long x 4 wide x 5 ft deep will be placed in the middle of the existing site, to be connected to (1) of the columns and Roof Catch Basins for onsite rainwater collection and groundwater irrigation. And another (1) 30 L.F. long x 4 wide x 5 ft deep Storm Water Infiltration Trench will be placed on the adjacent garden site to the north of the amphitheater, with a cleanout and 6 perforated PVC piping. This trench will be connected to (3) of the Roof Catch basins via overhead piping to this side yard.. (See CLA Engineers, Inc. Site Engineers drawing No. 1, of 79 Bank Street, New London, CT.) D. Site components a. An electrical /data transfer box will be located at the ground at the middle of the site, between the (4) new columns and footings to be added. This electrical / data volume shall have PVC conduit runs to each of the (4) columns for transfer of power and data cable to each column. b. An access / manhole cover shall be made to this volume for running cables and data. Coordination between Electrical Contractors and Sound / lighting engineers should be made. c. Synthetic Grass Synthetic Grass is to be installed on a 1350 sq ft. area in front of the existing stage approx..50 long x 27 feet wide. After construction is completed, the current sod / turf should be removed, existing dirt to be rototilled, top soil compacted, 3 of compacted aggregate base of Class II road base, ¼ minus with fines mixed in, and 2 EnviroLoc Backing Sytem Weed Barrier Polygreen Foa m PAD or similar, in place before new synthetic grass to be installed. DIVISION 6- ELECTRICAL Electrical / Stage Lighting / Audio/ Video/ Sound 4

5 Approved Electrical contractor must be able to work with all other trades on scheduling. Licensed and insured Electrical Contractor, to Co-ordinate with Stage Lighting Consultant Geoffrey Williams to synchronize electrical, power, lighting, video, data and sound requirements. RE: Site components (see Section 1.01 D) An electrical /data transfer box of approx x 5-0 x 5 0 deep, will be located at the ground at the middle of the site, between the (4) new columns and footings to be added. This electrical / data volume shall have PVC conduit runs to each of the (4) columns for transfer of power and data cable to each column. An access / manhole cover shall be made to this volume for running cables and data. Coordination between Electrical Contractors and Sound / lighting engineers should be made. 1. Adequate PVC conduit runs should be made not only for current Electrical/video/ and Data requirements, but Blanks installed for future electrical and data cable use. (These Blank PVC runs shall be made for easy access to performer DJ/VJ with run for Sound/Video Edit boards). These conduit runs shall run from the in ground Electrical /data transfer box to the top of the (4) columns at (21 ft. height) with links to GFI power outlets, Stage lighting truss, and in house stage monitor, Powered and PA Speakers, video and lighting system. 2. Ambient site lighting requirements: (4) Permanent ambient site lighting sconce(s) (per) each of the (4) columns should be approved (by architect, or owner) and Installed at the top of each column at approx above the ground. *Permanent ambient site lighting, not including stage and performance lighting will consist of: four sconce lights per each of the four columns. These lights can be on dimmers and used as required by staff during operational hours and used as park safety lights at night. (See attached renderings for illustration). NOTE: The Hygienic Art Inc. is a tax exempt not for profit organization. No Sales tax should be included. SPECIFICATIONS: 5
