2 APPLICATION PRIMING: Twer Tech² is generally cnsidered a nn-priming sealant. It is the user s respnsibility t check the adhesin f the cured sealant n typical test jints at the prject site befre and during applicatin cnsult Technical Services fr additinal infrmatin. SURFACE PREPARATION: Surfaces t be caulked must be dry and free f all dirt, dust, il, mildew, lse paint, ld caulk r ther cntaminates. Bare surfaces shuld be primed befre caulking. Only apply when sealant, surface and air temperatures are abve 40 F and rising. D nt apply n surfaces that exceed 120 F, r when rain is expected. INSTALLATION: Twer Tech² cmes ready t use. U-shaped jints shuld have the prper size backer rd r bnd breaker tape installed t prevent 3 pint adhesin. The sealant must reach deepest pint f the jint. Remve excess with a clean rag and water. Tling the jint flush with a putty knife is recmmended. Tling results in the crrect bead shape, a neat jint, and maximum adhesin. 90 jints can be tled smth with a mistened rag t a minimum bead size f 3/8. 4 CLEAN-UP/REMOVEAL: Immediately after use, clean equipment with sap and water. Remve cured sealant by cutting with a sharp-edged tl. Remve thin films by abrading.
