3 GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS 1. Yu will need this manual fr the safety warnings and precautins, perating, inspectin, maintenance and cleaning prcedures. Keep yur invice with this manual. Write the invice number n the inside f the frnt cver. Keep this manual and invice in a safe and dry place fr future reference. 2. 4 OPERATION & MAINTENANCE HOW TO USE YOUR HOT DOG COOKER/GRILLER IMPORTANT! Befre using yur ht dg cker fr the first time, apply a vegetable il such as sunflwer il r canla il t the ends f yur rllers. This will help t keep them turning smthly and easily. Avid using nn-stick sprays because these can cntain lecithin, which will cause an eventual buildup n yur rllers. T use yur machine: 1. Turn the Pwer switch t ON. 2. Use the temperature cntrl dials t the desired settings. T ck prduct mre rapidly, turn the temperature dials t their highest settings, r in a clckwise directin. T ck mre slwly, r t hld already cked prduct n a warm setting, adjust the temperature dial dwn, r in a cunterclckwise directin. Nte: Yur DAWG series cker s separate temperature dials cntrl the heat settings fr different sets f rllers. The Frnt dial cntrls all rllers (number f rllers will vary with mdel), while the Back dial cntrls the last 3 rllers f yur cker. This allws yu t ck sme ht dgs mre quickly, while hlding mre cked prduct at a lwer warming temperature. Mdel 4095 has a dial cntrl which affects all 5 rllers. In additin, the green heating indicatr lights marked Heating will be lit when the rllers are actively being heated; when they have reached the temperature set by the temperature dials, the light will g ut. Increasing the temperature setting fr a grup f rllers will cause the indicatr light t g n and when the new temperature is reached the light will extinguish t let yu knw that the new setting is reached. CAUTION! Rllers will be ht. Use care when cleaning, adding prduct r serving prduct! CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE IMPORTANT! D nt immerse any part f this machine in water. Turn the machine OFF prir t cleaning r maintenance and allw t cl befre tuching rllers. CAUTION! Rllers will be ht. Fllw the cleaning and maintenance guidelines t ensure a lng life fr yur machine. T clean yur machine: 1. Turn the Pwer switch t OFF. 2. Use a sft clth r twel t wipe the surfaces f the rllers. DO NOT USE METAL TO CLEAN YOUR ROLLERS! This may result in damage t the machine. In mst cases the natural ils exuded frm sausages r ht dgs will keep the machine well lubricated. Yu shuld simply need t wipe the rllers and utside surfaces f yur machine with a clth t remve excess ils r dust.
