Fabric ftings attached t the base f the ICF blck, manufactured f high density plyethylene scrim and cated with lw density plyethylene. The scrim prvides the tensile strength t withstand the cncrete frces, while the lw density cating acts as the capillary break, preventing the grund misture frm entering the fting cncrete; b. 6 PART 3 EXECUTION 05-Oct-17 Enter Prject Name Enter Prject Number 3.01 EXAMINATION Inspect all areas included in Scpe f Wrk; verify lines, levels and centers befre prceeding with frmwrk; ensure dimensins agree with drawings INSTALLATION Ensure there is n lateral slping f grund perpendicular t the fting layut directin; Install the MP system in strict accrdance with the Fastft MP System installatin guide; After the fting and wall have been frmed and pured, the damp prf membrane fr the fundatin wall shuld lap ver the Fastft fabric t prevent grund misture entering the cncrete; Puring the fting and wall frm at the same time can create frm uplift as the wall cncrete wants t blw up the fting frm. T prevent this, the fting and first blck shuld be filled first with sufficient time s that the subsequent lift f cncrete des nt create hydraulic pressure in the fting cncrete. A cncrete prfessinal shuld be cntacted if in dubt.
