3 Spanish Passive House Plattform Our Plataforma Edificación Passivhaus was founded in 2008 as a non-profit organization in order to study and divulge the Passive House standard in Spain. In 2009 the 1 st Spanish Passive House Conference was organized in Barcelona followed by the 2 nd in San Sebastian (Basque Country), the 3 rd in Central Spain (Segovia), the 4 th in Vitoria (Basque Country), the 5 th in Gijon (Asturias), the 6 th Spanish Passive House Conference in Madrid. Next year the Conference will take place in Barcelona. Since 2010 we organize every year four meetings to discuss technical questions and new advances.

17 IBEROAMERICAN PASSIVE HOUSE AWARD PEP organizes every two years the Iberoamerican Passive House Award. Our aim is to analize the conditions of energy efficiency in recent projects in order to evaluate the possibilities to achieve the European Directive (2010/31/UE) in 2018 and 2020 in Europe and to evaluate the situation in Iberoamerica. The Passive House standard is a reference for the definition of Nearly Zero Energy Buildings.

20 FIRST PASSIVE HOUSE COURSE IN SOUTH AMERICA source: Pablo Negrete The members of PEP, Micheel Wassouf y Anne Vogt, organized the first Passive House course in South America with more than 90 participants from Chile, Argentine, Uruguay, Peru, Columbia, Venezuela, Mexico, Panama and Guatemala.

21 TRAIN-TO-TRAINER COURSES IN MÉXICO CITY source: Carlos Gaitán source: Infonavit The Passive House Institute developed a program called DEEVi, based on PHPP, to simulate social housing in Mexico. The client is Infonavit, a bank who gives subsidies to ecological and energy efficiency measures. Together with the program SAAVi for saving water it forms the project SiSEViVe. The members of PEP Nuria Diaz and Anne Vogt collaborated in the training courses in Mexico City in July 2012 with the Passive House Institute.
