19 Maintenance of Traffic Maintain all existing travel lanes and turn lanes Temporary lane closure restrictions 5:00AM to 8:00PM Special events no temporary lane closures allowed Maintain existing driveways and side roads at all times Posted speed limits during MOT maintain existing, but no lower than 10mph below Hurricane evacuation route Design-Build Firm prepare a Transportation Management Plan 19

20 Maintenance of Traffic Incident Management Road Ranger Service Patrols (RRSP) each end of the bridge 24 hours a day and 7 days a week; in addition, one backup RRSP vehicle required Active RRSP will occur daily between 5:00AM to 8:00PM and be available remaining hours of the day Develop an incident management plan in coordination with local law enforcement officials and other agencies having jurisdiction. Vehicle refuge area Active Traffic Management Monitor and manage traffic speeds to achieve uniform speeds with a variance of no more than 10mph across the bridge Monitor traffic impacts to planned incidents to prevent secondary incidents (i.e. temporary lane closures, construction operations, equipment delivery) Manage and clear unplanned traffic incidents (i.e. debris, stalled vehicles, abandoned vehicles and crashed vehicles) 20
