9 BASIC INFORMATION The combination of flat plate collectors and CSP solar panels are a perfect match where both technologies deliver temperatures in the span where their efficiency i is highest, h and thus increasing i the plant's overall efficiency. Flat plate collectors have a higher performance at lower temperatures and produces most at midday when the sun is high in the sky. CSP solar collectors are distinguished by high efficiency, especially at high temperatures and produce heat evenly over the day with the highest performance morning and afternoon.
