24 Project Specific Benefits & Challenges Location & Transportation Campus location made it easy Many highly weighted credits available, transit, & density Too many visitors to earn Bicycle Facilities credit Sustainable Sites Campus location helped (ie, Open Space, Rainwater Management) Existing site it is what it is (ie, great for Heat Island Reduction, not so great for Light Pollution Reduction) Water Efficiency Water efficient fixtures = Great potable water savings Building irrigation not sub-metered Cannot meet the 2 nd point for Cooling Tower Water Use
