14 Focal points of activity Climate Protection Plan NRW 1. Wind sun water biomass: NRW turns renewable 2. Storages grids intelligent management: NRW backs decentral technologies and system solutions 3. Electricity meets heat: NRW gets top efficiency country no. 1! 4. Leap into a new industrial age: Industry and businesses as partners for energy transition in NRW 5. Go for efficiency in buildings and construction: strengthening energy efficient retrofits 6. Climate friendly and mobil: succeeding mobility transition in NRW 7. Beyond energy supply: climate compatible agriculture 8. Climate protection at home: more efficiency and less wasting in your house 9. Role model: Climate neutral state administration until Making NRW (extreme-)weatherproof: Adaptation to non-avoidable effects of Climate Change
