9 Wider Context TyTAN JAS is the first programme under the Joint Entity agreement to pursue opportunities with BAE Systems The recycling of savings is important as it secures the capability funding lines for early IFF, DASS packages, M-Scan Radar updates and E-Scan Radar 2 development The extension to the Saudi Typhoon support solution is currently being jointly worked through the joint entity. The industrialisation requirements of the Saudi customer will provide significant challenge to industry The support solution for the proposed G2G Belgium Typhoon sale is under way and will be based on an extension to the TyTAN JAS utilising RAF Coningsby as the repair hub 9
