4 Daily Agenda Module I - Building Core Supervisory Competencies Day One: The Importance of the Supervisory Role in the Organisation Day will cover the key supervisory competencies surrounding self-awareness leading to the internal competency of self-management. The Power Bases of the Supervisor Supervisory characteristics, competences and behaviours Inspiring change and innovations leading to continuous improvement Personal Accountability, Reliability, Integrity and Honesty Day Two: Problem solving, Decision Making and Time Management Day 2 will focus around the key core competencies required of a supervisor to be able to problem solve, make decisions, as well as being able to self-manage their time as well as manage others. 5 Day Four: Managing your Team and Others for Results A Supervisor is only as good the team they manage. This day will concentrate on the core competencies of managing others, leading into the final aspect of managing performance. Day 7 will focus on the key team competencies around team interpersonal and communication skills. 7 Day Nine: Igniting Team Innovation Collectively a team is a powerful force to generate ideas and solutions. This core team building competency requires the freedom to actively contribute to the ideas and dreams through powerful problem and innovation techniques, which will be covered on this 9th training day.
