1 Work. Balance. Life. Sonia Byrne Come Hear Sonia Speak On: How do leaders and decision-makers decide what to tackle first in the workbalance-life equation? Participants will walk away with a what s next list to activate back in the workplace Bio: Sonia is a Conscious Leadership Consultant who works with teams and individuals as their coach, consultant and workshop leader. In her own practice since 2008, Sonia has worked with companies in Canada, USA, UK and the Middle East-North Africa Region to help groups move through business change while continuing to grow their talent capacity. Drawing on more than 15 years of business experience as a Talent Operations Executive and a Human Resources Professional, Sonia partners with teams to help them achieve their personal and professional best in an ever-changing and increasingly fastpaced business work environment. With a focus on growing personal awareness for individuals and teams, they are able to leverage their individual and collective strengths for optimum personal and professional performance and growth. Sonia regularly conducts "Talent Building" Workshops for corporate and public groups and speaks at conferences, retreats and public events. She has been a professor of International Business Communication at Centennial College and columnist Leadership of Coach s Corner, a monthly business advice column for the Toronto Business Times. Sonia is a certified facilitator of several talent and growth assessment tools including DISC Profile, Personality Dimensions, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and SHL

2 Assessments. She is a CTI-Trained Coach and a member of the GTA Chapter of ICF (International Coach Federation). She holds a CHRL (Certified Human Resources Leader) designation and is currently enrolled in a Masters of Consciousness Studies Program in San Diego. Sonia received her Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science Degree from the University of Toronto and holds a Human Resources Management diploma from Ryerson. Vigilant Management received the Entrepreneurial Spirit and Leader in Market Growth awards at the 2016 St. John's Board of Trade Business Excellence Awards. Vigilant Management is bringing a new approach to construction project delivery that separates the role of Project Management from the Designer, giving the Owner a dedicated, independent voice to represent them on all project matters.

In addition, effective time management principles for health eating/planning and exercise was discussed. Bio: I'm the owner of OZ Coaching and a Certified Kinesiologist & Certified Ergonomic Coordinator with 12+ yrs experience providing corporate wellness and executive fitness coaching services. I have extensive experience conducting seminars/workshops to local and international companies on fostering functional healthy and active lifestyles with an emphasis on establishing work-life balance. Lisa Bragg Come Hear Lisa Speak On: Lisa will share various programs and strategies that contribute to work life balance at The Cahill Group. As a company that stretches across Canada and engages employees with varying skill sets, Cahill s work life balance solutions aren t one size fits all. Bio: Lisa Bragg is the Marketing and Communications Advisor with The Cahill Group, one of the largest multidisciplinary construction companies in Canada. Following the completion of a Biochemistry degree at Memorial University, she launched into her first job at the Newfoundland Science Centre where she hosted a cable science television show for children, and had a weekly radio spot with CBC. This was a turning point as she realized that rather than a career in pure science, she was more suited for a career in marketing and communication. Lisa then started a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Memorial, part time, where she fostered her love of marketing and the softer side of business.

4 In her 20-year career, Lisa has organized conferences, hosted dignitaries, emceed large events, fundraised for meaningful causes, untangled contentious situations, developed award winning safety materials and communicated with the media as a corporate spokesperson. Along with her passion for her career, Lisa is also passionate about her roles as a mother, wife, rower, squash volunteer and baker. Charlene Brophy Come Hear Charlene Speak on: Work Life Balance in a Non-Traditional Workplace. Highlight on recruiting, retaining and engaging employees working remotely in multiple provinces, states and countries Bio: Charlene Brophy is President and CEO of FONEMED. Charlene contributes her success to looking outside our borders for opportunities for growth. Fonemed is an international tele-medicine company, providing technology and tele-triage support, remote bio-metric monitoring, and behavioral health counseling to over 2300 client groups and 10 million individuals globally. Charlene has brought her hands-on knowledge of our health care system into developing countries and communities which otherwise would not have access to medical care. Charlene is a forward-thinker, believing being in business is about managing and responding to change. She believes the ability to embrace advances in disruptive technology and innovation as the most important enabler for change a company can introduce. Charlene has provided direct oversight for the establishment of tele-health centers at multiple sites throughout North America in addition to several international locations including Bangladesh, Manila, Haiti, Venezuela and Peru. Today, FONEMED has over 100 employees in NL working in four distinct health contact centers throughout the province. Fonemed also operates a remote workforce and has registered nurses working from home licensed in every state throughout the US as well as Israel, with many more working in international health contact centres. Charlene has been an EY Finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year and the recipient of the Business Excellence Award from The St. John's Board of Trade for leading innovation and her outstanding contribution to the NL economy, growing a global business out of the headquarters in St. John's, Newfoundland.

5 Charlene was recently awarded the CBC Innovator of the Year Award by Atlantic Business Magazine and has been recognized as one of the Top 50 CEO s in Atlantic Canada.
