Depending on your background and job targets, we will then decide on a job search strategy for you, with details on how much time you should spend on different job sources. Additionally, we will prepare a plan for specific/exact job search activities you will engage in everyday. We will discuss and take you through the entire approach. This ensures that you direct your job search efforts towards the most productive activities. After the training, you will have a weekly session with your job search specialist, to discuss progress, roadblocks, changes needed and to make sure you re on the right track.

Step 2: You complete our 'Career Achievements' workbook, which draws out your key strengths and accomplishments in detail. Step 3: Job search specialist provides feedback/guidance on the workbook content and you makes changes accordingly. Step 4: You move on to our 'Interview Questions' workbook, in which your accomplishments are used to draft word-for-word responses to expected interview questions, specific to your job target(s). Step 5: Job search specialist works with you to dramatically improve and finalise your interview responses. Step 6: Practice interview with outplacement specialist, along with video recorded feedback.

13 Amit Puri: Managing Consultant Amit has extensive business and career management related experience, in Asia and Europe, including organisational/strategy consulting with Bain and Company. In this role he helped organisations improve their effectiveness in areas such as company culture, recruitment and selection, talent deployment, overall strategy and operational improvements. Amit has also worked for Morgan Stanley and Citigroup, in equity research, investment banking, equity capital markets, commercial banking and wealth management. His educational qualifications are equally diverse. Amit has pursued an MSc./PG Dip. in Organisational Psychology and Career Counselling, with the University of London. He has the highest level of practical training in Occupational Psychometric Testing, with the British Psychological Society. He has trained with the Career Coach Institute (USA) and Results Coaching Systems (Singapore/Australia). Amit also holds an MBA from INSEAD (France) and a Masters in Financial Management, from the International Management Institute (India).
14 Nigel Nolan: Senior Consultant Nigel has more than 25 years general management experience in both the private and public sectors in Europe. He has managed Operational Service Units and Training & Development Units in the Irish health services. Nigel has vast experience in training needs analysis, and in the design, delivery and evaluation of training and training materials. He has trained, facilitated and led strategy development processes, organisational development initiatives and organisational performance management improvements. He is an experienced trainer, facilitator and presenter. Nigel was an associate lecturer with the UK s Open University Business School for 13 years on their Professional Diploma in Management / MBA course, and an associate lecturer in health services management with Dublin Institute of Technology. In addition to an educational background in philosophy, psychology, theology and communications, Nigel studied on a scholarship secondment in the School of Public Administration (formally a part of the Institute of Public Administration, Dublin). He has a PGDM and an MBA from the UK s Open University Business School; an M.A. in Adult & Community Education from the National University of Ireland. He is a Fellow of the Irish Institute of Training & Development (FIITD), a Member of the Chartered Management Institute (MCMI) and a Member of the Singapore Institute of Management (MSIM). Nigel is also a Certified Trainer and Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a Certified Coach.
15 Shan Gao: Consultant Shan has strong experience in the field of career development, both in the United States and in China. Her specialties include individual/group career coaching, career assessment, training and program evaluation. She has worked as a career advisor with the University of Minnesota and Macalester College in the United States and also with Southwest University in China. Prior to that, Shan was a Human Resources specialist, in-charge of staff training programs, at TradeEasy.com. Shan graduated with BA degree in Education at Southwest University in China and acquired the Teach Certificate accredited by the Ministry of Education upon graduation. She received her Master s degree in counseling at University of Minnesota (USA) with a concentration in career development. Shan s other experiences include blogging, teaching at middle school and counseling at Sober House. Drawn to multicultural and social justice issues, she also worked with the University of Minnesota Office of Equity and Diversity, for programming and counseling.
16 Alka Chandiramani: Senior Associate Alka is a multi-lingual and experienced human resources (HR) practitioner with over 18 years of HR and legal experience. Her extensive experience in the HR arena includes a full spectrum of HR functions including regional roles and execution of Global HR programs/initiatives. She has facilitated over 200 career coaching, HR and job search related workshops at CRCE, high schools and universities in Singapore and Hong Kong. Prior to that she worked with MNCs, legal firms and schools throughout Hong Kong. Alka received a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from the Macquarie University in Australia, a Diploma in Law from The University of Hong Kong in conjunction with the Institute of Legal Executives (U.K.) and a Diploma in Education Studies and Child Psychology from the Linguistic Council in Singapore. She is a Certified Human Resource Professional, Certified Professional Resume Writer, Certified Employment Interview Professional, Certified Behavioural/Career Consultant. She also pursued a Professional Certificate in Coaching (PCC) with Results Coaching Systems (NeuroLeadership Group) and Certification in Career Coaching with PARW/CC.
17 Janani Narayanan: Senior Consultant Janani has worked in the area of Human Resources, with Infosys Technologies Limited (a global provider of technology enabled business solutions with over $5 billion in revenues) and subsequently as an Independent Consultant. During her time with Infosys, Janani was part of the Talent Acquisition team and handled all aspects of the Recruitment Lifecycle. She was also a founding member of the HR Internal Communications team, where she planned, designed and rolled-out organisation wide communication interventions. She has won several accolades for her role in Talent Acquisition and Internal Communication. As an Independent Consultant, Janani worked closely with and assisted Ms. Hema Ravichandar, one of the leading thinkers in Human Resources in India/Asia. Her engagements primarily involved mapping existing HR processes in organisations and recommending improvements for each process, to help organisations outperform. Janani graduated with a Bachelor s in Business Management, followed by Post Graduation in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from the reputed Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
