2 Web Data Mining Create and process Data Mining reports using the convenience of the web. Report on all information on the profile. We will show you different ways to gather all the information you need.
3 Employee Data Mining Views Reports to Display Go to Employee Data Mining. Before continuing, let s talk about the web. Views vs. Filters Custom Filters vs. Quick Filters Reports to Display Excel and Custom Reporting My Print Queue, New Window, Favorites, Print Screen Filters Excel Custom Reporting
4 Report Information Driver Table helps with field selection. Table options : - Assignments - Profile - Credits - Certifications Orientations: Landscape/Portrait Employee Status: Defaults to Active Employee Inclusion: - Helps filter employees to be included Driver Table
5 Fields - Driver Table selection on Report Information helps focus field search In this example, since the Assignment table was Chosen on the Report Information screen, the System only displays the appropriate fields to Choose from. Table controls which Field areas display
6 Highlighted Entries indicate additional field options available Under Position there are additional fields under Both Assignment Breakdown and Position Payroll. Selecting one of the fields expands to the next Field selection section until the last list of fields Displays. So in order to get an Assignment account on A report, you must choose, Position, Position Payroll, Account Distribution, Account Number. Highlighted fields expand to display more fields
7 If pulling Assignment information, must include Position Plan as one of the fields on the report Position Plan displays in RED to remind you to Include on your report so you can set the Appropriate plan for the report. Remember it Does not have to print, but it must be included So the system knows which plan to pull the Other data from.
8 Ranges - Individual Selection - Print on Report - Ranges Print Field on Report use for parameters, but Does not have to print on report Individual Selection - use to pull only specific Items, - such as an individual EMS plan. Ranges most fields have range options that Can be set
9 Ranges - Date Ranges - Fixed vs. Variable Fixed specific date Variable how many days from TODAY
10 Sorting Set order for the report to sort Set how the report should break
11 Selected Employees Can select individual employees to be included On the report Click Employee to locate the employees. Click Add to add under Selected Names.
12 Set Format, if appropriate Used to drop wide report to Excel Check option Print All Information on One Line Per Person. This produces the table information based on The fields selected. EDIT the PRINT # field where there is a possibility Of multiple pieces of data that should be Included on the report. For Example: Account Distribution. Change Print# to the Highest number of accounts that can be used On a single assignment distribution. For example, some superintendent s assignment Is split funded between many accounts. If the Highest number of accounts if 7, then change Print# to 7 so that all accounts for the Superintendent would be included on the report
13 Note the Report Width. If more than 172 characters, use the Excel option
14 Report will drop to Excel.
