1 COMPANY AWARDS 2017 APPLICATION GUIDE JUDGING CRITERIA: COMPANY TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT AWARD 2017 The CCNZ Company Training and Development Award sponsored by Connexis aims to recognise those employers that believe in providing opportunities for their staff to gain skills and knowledge through a nationally recognised qualification. These employers invest across all levels of their business, embedding training as a matter of course in everything they do, and creating pathways for their people to move up. They understand the importance of building their business by building their people. This award is to highlight the importance of these types of companies in creating a skilled and safe New Zealand APPLICATION INFORMATION: COMPANY TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT AWARD 2017 Applications are open to CCNZ Members who meet any one of the following criteria: Registered companies working in the Infrastructure Industry within New Zealand, with employees undertaking training A multi-site company, branch of multi-site, or a single-site organisation Offering the majority of their training to their team, linked to National/New Zealand Certificates and Diplomas through Connexis ITO There are four award categories, based on company turnover: Up to $10M $10M to $25M $25M+ Projects The Projects category is new for 2017 and is open to One-off Construction Projects. It can include Alliances, Joint Ventures, Public/Private Partnerships etc. HOW TO ENTER: Please send your application by tricia@civilcontractors.co.nz or by courier/post: Courier: CCNZ Connexis Company Awards Margan House, 21 Fitzherbert Terrace Thorndon Wellington 6011 Post: CCNZ Connexis Company Awards PO Box Wellington 6144 Your application should include: A completed application form Any additional material to support your submission A purchase order or electronic bank transfer for the entry fee of $250 (+GST) Bank Account Details: CCNZ with your name as reference. The judges will then read your entry and discuss it. They may give you a call if they have any questions. After this, they will pick three finalists in each category. The winners will be announced by Connexis at the Z Awards Luncheon on Friday 4th August 2017, at the CCNZ Conference. Please ensure that you or a company representative will be available to attend the luncheon.

In a maximum of 1000 words (in total) across Part A and Part B below, give us an overview of the success of training in your business following the criteria below. Part A: High Level of Training Engagement: i. Variety of Roles and Skills: (Tell us the variety of roles and skill sets your training covers) ii.
