1 HAS 2018 will be held at Washington University (WU), 1 Brookings Drive, St Louis, MO We expect a record attendance. The vendor area is in the Crowder Courtyard (3 rd floor) of the Anheuser-Busch Hall and will be open Wednesday through Friday. We hope you will be able to join us! All breaks will be in the vendor area, so you will have plenty of traffic! Vendor Units (Booth) Specifications: Each vendor unit is 8 x 6 and includes one table (6 X 2 ½ ), and two chairs. The cost per unit is $110. Please bring your own tablecover and skirting. If you need electricity, cost is an additional $10. Each unit location will be assigned by HAS staff. Meals: No meals are included in the cost of your vendor unit. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner can be pre-purchased. Please see the registration form for the pricing on this information as well as the Special Events on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. Lodging: Dorm rooms are available. See: for housing information. You will be able to sign up for these dorms during the registration process. Shipping to HAS 2018: If you wish to ship items, please ship as a Hold at Location to arrive by July 9 th and use the following address: Fedex, 700 Olive Street, St. Louis, MO Tel: (314) Attn: HAS Beekeepers Conference Sales Tax collection: You will be responsible for collecting sales tax. Location, Directions and Arrival to the Check-In/Unloading Area: 1. Location: The back/dock door of the Anheuser-Busch Hall will be the vendor Check- In/Unloading area. 2. Directions: The only way to reach the back/dock door of the Anheuser-Busch Hall is via Snow Way Drive. Please note, Snow Way Drive is a one-way single lane. Snow Way must be not blocked for ANY reason or time period. Do not show up at the dock until you are went to the arrival station first. 3. Arrival: Due to limited parking during the check-in/unloading, vendors MUST first report to the staging lot located at Upper Muny parking lot in Forest Park where they will be assigned a queuing number. Each vendor will be released in the order they arrive. Clayton Lee will be in the parking lot or you can send a text or call him at (573) He will assign the numbers and provide you with detailed directions from the staging to the unloading area. Check in and Unloading: Vendors will unload at the back/dock door of Anheuser-Busch Hall. There will be volunteers at the unloading dock to assist. Please note: this is the only area where vendors or HAS staff may bring boxes/displays/carts. The vendor area will be accessed through the back/dock door and up the elevator to the 3rd floor where the Crowder Courtyard/Vendor area is located. The university has a strict policy so please do not bring in anything through the front, boxes, bags, etc. Vendors may check in and receive their name badges. bags and additional conference information at the registration tables in front of Crowder Courtyard.

2 Parking after unloading: Vendors with average sized passenger vehicles (examples: cars, vans, and pick-ups) can park in the Millbrook garage across the street and East of the Anheuser-Busch Hall. Vendor parking (and attendee parking) is $9/day. Vendors with trailers or or taller trucks will need park their vehicles offsite at Hogan Truck Leasing, 1000 North 14 th Street, St. Louis, MO Your HAS vendor coordinators will have directions for you when you check in and unload. This is a guarded parking area and is being provided to HAS vendors free of charge. Onsite Vendor Contact at HAS 2018: Contact Ralph Samples via text, , or phone call (cell: , fourridgebees@live.com). He will oversee the vendor area and will help you locate and get settled into your space. Set Up: You can start setting up your booth any time after noon on Tuesday. The vendor area will open Wednesday morning with the first break, around 10:00 a.m. The A-B Hall where the Crowder Courtyard/vendor area is located, will be locked at 9:00 pm; however, students and WU employees will have card key access. Take down: Friday take down can begin after noon break, around 1:30 p.m. If you are shipping items back home, please have the packages properly labeled. You will be given instructions as to where to leave them. All vendor displays must be removed, and tables cleared, by 3pm on Friday. There will be a team of volunteers that will assist you if needed. Donations: Someone from the volunteer team will be around to collect donations for our raffle.

4 Sponsor A Bag Stuffer WHAT S IN THE BAG? Here s the perfect way to get your catalog, special offer flyer, or promotional items into the hands of our attendees. Small note pads with your company name, phone number and web page are ideal. They do get used, and your name is always right there. An inexpensive pen with your information on it is also a good idea (you d be really surprised at how many I see toward the end of the week getting used in the workshops). If you re attending the meeting, this is your chance to offer a special a coupon for 10% off, for instance. This gets people to your table. If you can t attend, a bag stuffer allows you to still have a presence at the conference. Cost is $100/item to be stuffed. Send us 700 of each item.
