The Hose + Coupling World Conference Steering Committee invites presentations for the upcoming event on a wide variety of topics related to hoses, couplings, fittings, and accessories in the flow control industry. Experts from all areas of the Hose + Coupling industry including end-users, EPCs, material experts, manufacturers, and distributors are encouraged to submit an abstract. All abstracts should be of a technical nature or involve case studies. Commercial presentations solely promoting companies and their brands are discouraged. Are you involved in developing innovative new products? Do others frequently come to you for answers? Then we want to hear from you submit today! HOW TO SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT Hose + Coupling experts are invited to submit an abstract ( words) which can later be developed into a PowerPoint for presentation at the event. Abstracts should include a title, a summary of the content of the presentation, and an author name with appropriate contact details ( address/tel. no.). Speakers will be allocated 25 minutes for their presentation including 5 minutes for questions & answers. Time limits will be strict. Please send your abstract to the Conference Coordinator, Christopher Papendorf: c.paperdorf@kci-world.com DISCUSSION-BASED WORKSHOPS Workshops are ideal platforms where end-users, manufacturers, suppliers, EPCs, distributors and materials experts alike can freely discuss key topics having a major impact on the Hose & Coupling industry. If there is a topic that you would like to see addressed at the conference then please do propose it as a workshop theme. Simply submit some details about the topic, outlining why it is important and the types of speakers who might also contribute, to the Conference Coordinator, Christopher Papendorf: c.paperdorf@kci-world.com. ROLE OF THE STEERING COMMITTEE The role of the International Steering Committee is to: Advise the organization Guide the information of the conference program Review the submitted abstracts Select conference presentations Assess and develop workshop themes The Steering Committee s overall goal is to develop a well rounded program that will deliver real benefits to all conference delegates.!
