5 About Ticket Restaurant Ticket Restaurant is the first and most widely used meal voucher in Romania, issued by Edenred Romania SRL since 1999 Meal vouchers may be granted by individuals or companies who are employing staff based on individual labour contracts Hiring companies bear all costs of vouchers, but they are tax deductible and exempt from employers and employees' contributions Food vouchers are intended solely for food expenses and can be used in a controlled network of affiliated partners, ensuring the quality of food purchased. 6 About Ticket Restaurant The meal vouchers can be used under the following conditions: Used only to pay the meal or food They are not damaged and they are valid They are used within the affiliated network They are not stamped on verso by another affiliated unit They cannot be transformed into cash There will be no cash change offered to the vouchers 6

9 Fiscal treatment Meal tickets will be granted in accordance with Law 142/1998 on granting vouchers and its implementing rules. Companies can give each employee one meal ticket for each worked day. The value of a meal voucher is currently 9.35 Lei, this being indexed by semester according to the price index of food, provided by the National Statistical Commission. Last indexing of meal vouchers was established by the Minister of Labour, Family and Social Protection no. 882 / , published in Monitorul Oficial no. 276, dated Amounts given to employees in meal vouchers are fully deductible and exempt from employers taxes at company level. Since July 2010, meal vouchers are taxed at a rate of 16% for the income tax from wages paid by the employee. 9
