10 NIELSEN BUSINESS CASE STUDY COMPETITION What is it? THE PAYOUT You will learn more about what Nielsen employees do - specifically, how we help our clients through high-quality analytics Gain resume and interview-worthy experience by completing a challenging case in conjunction with an industry-leading company Present findings to a Nielsen panel, which will include representation from the company s senior leadership Showcase your team s ability to work together, analyze data, and present information and yourselves in a simulated client-facing role The opportunity to experience working alongside Nielsen associates for a week in another country for the Winning team. A fun challenge! 10
11 HOW TO TAKE PART? Participate in teams of3-4! Apply by: Please send an to Stephanie Käseberg with your team members names by What is the timeline of the business casestudy? Upon forming your team / receiving the case, you will have 4 weeks from to to prepare and your completed business case and practise presenting! During the 4 week period, Nielsen will visit the university to hold surgery sessions You will get to present your findings to Nielsen (in the event of many teams, Nielsen reserves the right to pre-screen the presentations and come up with a shortlist) Live presentations to Nielsen executives will take place in last weekofmay 11
12 WHAT WILL YOUR TEAM BE DOING? Addressing business issues presented by a manufacturer using Nielsen data / assets to analyze those questions and deliver insight Summarizing findings and recommendations in a PowerPoint report for Nielsen which may result in you presenting it to a panel of Nielsen executives at a culminating Business Case Event 12
