1 Dear Cmmunity Member, Each year, ur cmmunity hsts a variety f events t drive awareness, prmte health and fitness prgrams, and raise mney fr charitable rganizatins and causes. One cause that hits clse t hme fr s many Clradans is cancer, the secnd leading cause f death in the state. The Pudre Valley cancer center will address the needs f cancer patients in ur area. It was designed t prvide patients in ur cmmunity with ne-dr access t cancer treatment, research, supprt, and survivrship services. This year, we encurage yu t cnsider supprting Clrad Mves t End Cancer, presented by Miramnt Lifestyle Fitness and many cmmunity spnsrs. Clrad Mves t End Cancer is a weekend full f events frm September The purpse f the event is t prvide multiple pprtunities fr participants t mve, share their stries abut hw cancer has tuched them persnally, and raise funds fr tw instrumental rganizatins. Net prceeds raised frm the events will be split between the Pudre Valley cancer center and nn-smking lung cancer research at the University f Clrad Cancer Center. The event began as the Chris Burge Tennis Classic, in memry f a Miramnt Lifestyle Fitness member, friend t many, and tennis player, wh battled but lst her fight t nn-smking lung cancer. We feel strngly that yur dnatin can help thers like Chris find the help and treatment they need t fight their battles.
