10 Nte: Oracle Crpratin distributes Oracle Linux with the fllwing tw kernels: Red Hat Cmpatible Kernel This kernel is identical t the kernel shipped in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel This kernel is based n a later Linux 2.6-series kernel, with Oracle's wn enhancements fr OLTP, InfiniBand, SSD disk access, NUMA-ptimizatins, Reliable Datagram Sckets (RDS), async I/O, OCFS2, and netwrking. Oracle claims that the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel is cmpatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux; and Oracle middleware and third-party Red Hat Enterprise Linux-certified applicatins can be installed and run unchanged n Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel.
