1 Creating Car-Part Pr Search Prfiles 1. While lgged int Car-Part Pr, hver yur address in the tp right crner f the search page, then click Settings. 2. The Accunt Setup screen pens. Click the Search Prfiles tab. 3. On the Search Prfiles tab, yu can create new search prfiles r mdify existing prfiles. T create a new search prfile, type a name in the New Prfile bx. This is hw yu will identify this particular set f selectins during yur searches. T mdify an existing search prfile, select it frm the Select Prfile drp-dwn menu. 4. 3 Search Filters The fllwing list explains each f the filters available: Delivery Days This filter specifies the number f business days yu wuld like the part delivered within. Fr example, if yu are perfrming the search n Mnday and select 2 Days Delivery, the search will nly display thse parts that can be delivered t the pstal cde in yur search (usually the pstal cde n yur estimate, unless therwise specified) n r befre Wednesday. Remember, this clumn indicates business days, which is Mnday-Friday. The delivery filter includes lcal delivery nly. It des nt include shipping; hwever, mst parts prviders will ship parts, s cntact a parts prvider fr mre infrmatin abut a specific part. Regin Leave this filter as All Areas/Select Area t include all parts regardless f lcatin. Yu will be able t srt the search results page by distance. Otherwise, select the cuntry, regin, r state yu wuld like t include in the search. Regins can be identified using the map available at Certificatin - This filter specifies a certificatin requirement and searches nly fr parts sld by part prviders wh hld at least that certificatin level. Fr example, if yu select Car-Part Silver Certified Dealers, yur results will include Car-Part Silver Certified Dealers as well as Car-Part Gld Certified Dealers. Warranty This filter specifies a minimum warranty. Yur search results will include parts that are sld with a warranty that meets r exceeds yur selectin. Fr example, if yu select 3 Year Warranty, yur results will als include parts with a Lifetime Warranty and a 3 Year+Labr Warranty. Yur warranty selectin will be included in the prices displayed in the results. Part Type This filter allws yu t narrw yur search results by part type. Leave this selectin as All Part Types t include all parts in yur search. Otherwise, select ne f the fllwing: All Parts exc. Aftermarket where knwn Excludes any parts that recyclers indicated are aftermarket parts; hwever, smetimes recyclers may nt prperly indicate that a part is an aftermarket part. This means it is pssible that results may include aftermarket parts. Cntact the seller t be sure. Recycled+Certified AM Includes bth all recycled parts and aftermarket parts that have been certified by a third-party prgram. Recycled+Cert+Validated AM Includes all recycled parts in additin t aftermarket parts that have been certified by a third-party prgram and/r have had service levels validated by a third-party prgram. Recycled-Graded w/vin Includes nly recycled parts that prvide bth a part grade and a VIN in the part listing. Recycled-Graded w/vin+certified AM Includes recycled parts that prvide bth a part grade and a VIN in the part listing. Als includes aftermarket parts that have been certified by a third party prgram. Recycled-Graded w/vin+cert+validated AM Includes recycled parts that prvide bth a part grade and a VIN in the part listing. All Aftermarket Includes all levels f aftermarket parts, including thse that have been certified and/r validated by a third party prgram. Part Grade This filter selects a minimum part grade. Limit Year This filter allws yu t specify if yu want t include nly Same year r newer parts. Bdy Part Price Type This filter specifies price type. Leave the selectin as Shw Seller Default Pricing Type t display bdy part prices in the way the seller has chsen. Actual Price displays the price the part prvider is charging fr this part. If the part has damage, estimates shuld include additinal cnsideratin fr the time it will take t return this part t an undamaged state. Mst part prviders use this pricing type. Undamaged Price displays the amunt that the part prvider expects t be included n an estimate. This price des nt indicate that the part itself is undamaged. Primary Srt This ptin allws yu t specify the main characteristic yu wuld like yur results t be srted by. Secndary Srt This ptin allws yu t specify the secndary characteristic yu wuld like t srt yur parts by.
