1 Position Reports to Supply Chain Officer Inwards Goods Warehouse Team Lead - Inventory Company Synlait Milk Ltd Date: October 2013 Location 1028 Heslerton Road, Dunsandel, Canterbury Purpose To provide support to ensure the daily operational requirements for the inwards goods and production staging functions within the warehouse are met. Ensure DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time) is met. Key Performance Areas Administrative Support Be responsible for the planning and coordination of all inwards goods deliveries. In conjunction with the Warehouse Team Lead Inventory ensure resource requirements required to meet inwards goods daily plan is communicated to the Warehouse Manager Operations. Ensure incoming goods are monitored; ensuring documentation is checked, receipted, and entered as appropriate. Liaison is maintained with transport providers and suppliers as required. Liaise with Procurement ensuring any delivery discrepancies or damages are reported. All internal enquiries are responded to efficiently and effectively. The integrity of inward correspondence is maintained. All filing requirements are managed. Workload is organised and prioritised to allow for regular flow within acceptable timeframes. Any issues with stock and/or processes are brought to the attention of the Warehouse Team Lead - Inventory Inventory systems are maintained and updated as required. 2 Key Performance Areas Inventory Accuracy Be responsible for ensuring all daily/weekly/monthly stocktakes/cycle counts are actioned. Raise any major discrepancies with Warehouse Manager Operations and Warehouse Team Lead - Inventory Compliance/Risk Management Comply with all relevant company policies and delegations. Comply with all Quality Assurance/ISO systems. Identify and remedy any health and safety hazards and report any incidents. Projects Undertake specific analysis and investigations/projects as directed and in an accurate and timely manner. Professional & Personal Development Undertake identified personal training/development with the prior approval of the Warehouse Team Lead - Inventory Build networks with relevant organisations, professionals and associations. Knowledge of inwards and outwards goods processes (desirable). Skills: Computer literacy and MS Office programmes essential to intermediate level.
