1 Job Title: Based at: Trolley/Shop Assistant - Retail Hairmyres Hospital Shop Reports to: Service Manager Job Purpose: To provide a trolley service throughout the Hospital, providing assistance and excellent customer service to all customers and helping out in shop as and when require. Key Responsibilities 1. To participate in the day to day running of the trolley and retail service. 2. To operate the till and undertake till reconciliation. 3. To undertake all financial procedures in accordance with Royal Voluntary Service loss prevention policy. 4. To distribute, and maintain stock as appropriate. 5. To assist with regular stock checks and annual stock checks. 6. To adhere to planograms and ensure correct stock rotation in accordance with trading standards and organisation operating procedures. 7. To dispose of date expired food/drink in accordance with Royal Voluntary Service policies and procedures. 8. To clean and tidy the trolley/shop and displays ensuring it is clean, appealing and accessible to all customers. 9. To ensure that all appropriate food and health and safety practices are implemented and observed to meet statutory and organisation operating policies. 10. To operate within the context of Royal Voluntary Service policies and procedures.
