3 Advertising Requirements - All ads must be digital high resolution Adobe PDF(files with fonts embedded), PNG, or JPEG - VCA will recommend graphic designers if needed - All color must be CMYK - Artwork must be 300 dpi -Ads are due by the 15th of the month prior to publishing (If the 15th falls on a weekend materials are still due on the 15th or the Friday prior)

6 Additional Services and Information *PrintAdvertising prices listed are for Black and White print-ready ads. 7 Publication Policies Changes/Late Material/Cancellations: Changes will NOT be accepted after the materials deadline (15th of the month prior to publishing). If materials are not received by deadline, publisher may publish what was given, repeat the most recent advertisement or publish nothing, billing the space reserved. Late materials will be added at the descretion of the publisher, and client will incur a $25 late fee if printed. A fee of $50 will be charged to any client that commits to advertisement and cancels after the deadline. Rate Increase: In the event that advertising rates increase, new rates will only be applied to ads not covered under a formal written agreement. Right of Refusal: Publisher reserves the right to decline publishing any advertising or editorial which does not meet approval, is past the deadline, or is from a delinquent account. The Virginia Cattleman and staff assume no responsibility or obligation to verify the accuracy and truthfulness of any submissions of editorial or advertisements. Opinions expressed are that of the writers and not neccesarily those of VCA and it s affiliates. Payment: The Publisher reserves the right to hold advertiser and/or advertising agency jointly and severally liable for payment due to the Publisher. All payments are due in FULL within 30 days of invoicing unless other arrangements have been made and documented. A late payment fee will be assessed on a case by case basis. If an account becomes delinquent at 60 days all advertising associated with the account will cease until full payment is made. It is the responsibility of the advertiser to ensure ad designer knows the correct requirements of The Virginia Cattleman paper for the ad to be created to avoid any distortion in quality when printed. Publisher accepts ads under the assumption that all requirements have been met and therfore not liable for any distortions that may occur during printing. Every effort will be made to send proofs for all ads. Proofs are only guaranteed if requested and ALL ad materials arrive BEFORE the deadline. Proofs will be sent digitally unless requested otherwise.
