2 Dear Sir/Madam, EVU Croatia Traffic and Technical Expertise Centre is the authorized representative of EVU (European Association for Accident Research and Analysis), a pan-european organisation gathering more than 1,000 experts in the field of accident research and reconstruction from 20 European countries. The Association s goal is to promote the profession and, by scientific and expert research, set new standards in traffic accident analysis. With its activities, the Association promotes the improvement and exchange of expertise and competences of its members. With this in mind, the Association organizes the international annual Congress gathering hundreds of its members. Each year, the Congress is hosted by a different country. Following a successful bid, Croatia was selected as the host of the 27 th Annual Congress of the European Association for Accident Research. The Congress will be held in Dubrovnik, at Rixos Libertas Hotel, from 11 to 13 October The main organizers are EVU Croatia and Vehicle Centre of Croatia (CVH). In addition to participating in the formal part of the Congress and the presentation of papers, participants will have plenty of time for networking and dinners, where they will be able to exchange their experiences and knowledge in an informal and friendly atmosphere. Based on experience from previous congresses, and taking into account the cultural and tourist attractions Dubrovnik has to offer, we expect that several hundred members will participate at the Congress, thus making the organization a real challenge.
