2 POSTMEDIA S STRATEGY More than three years in the making, Postmedia s strategy is inspired by the changing content consumption trends of our audiences and the shifting media landscape of our advertisers. This exciting initiative brings readers of The Province s website and mobile app engaging new products to enhance their reading experience while delivering loyal online and mobile users to our advertisers. 3 IMPROVED PERFORMANCE The Province s digital redesign features a new responsive website and redesigned smartphone app for ios and Android. These products have been developed to include faster load times and a responsive design that renders well across any screen size, with a greater emphasis on images and videos. 2

5 WEB The new responsive design is inspired by a tabloid look-and-feel with fresh, bold colours to engage readers. Product enhancements ensure the site functions well on any platform for a highly visual experience that puts images and video at the forefront. We will see increased engagement through better contextualization and related content. Furthermore, our advertisers will benefit from higher viewability and increased click through rates with the addition of the sticky ad unit feature.
