4 3 - OVERVIEW OF OUR SERVICES Visual ID cards Controling of these cards is done visually. Most of the time, these cards are used for communications means. Types of cards : event tags, loyalty cards, business cards, VIP passes, luxury business cards (for professionals working in public zones). advantages We manage all printing technologies, enabling us to provide you with original designs aligned with your brand image. Our «Scopus online» tool enables us to decentralise supply requests with a possible workflow approval. Secure visual ID using cards ID control is visual in the first instance. Security graphics can be added to the cards to increase the difficulty of duplication and fraudulous manufacturing. Examples of additional security elements : hologram, UV printing in two or three colours, micro line printing, guilloche and engraved background, embossed characters. Types of cards : professional cards, official cards, registration cards, inspection cards... advantages We can include all these security graphics into the cards we create. 5 OUR SERVICES Card ID for access control : These cards must be used as part of an access control system enabling individual acces control checks upon presentation of the user s ID card. Interaction with the system can work in several ways : - Reading of a graphic code : barcode, secured QR code or data matrix - Reading of a contactless chip - Reading of a regular chip upon contact The level of security can be tailored to the client s needs. Bénin - Port of Cotonou Our solutions enabled the Port of Cotonou to comply with ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security Code). The first step was to issue a highly secure and tamperproof identification badge equiped with a RFID chip to store the cardholder s personal information. Temporary visitors do not have the same rights as employees or security guards. A local service provider implemented an access control activated by the unique card allowing its holder to pass the various crossing points to enter the port if he/she is authorised to do so. 9 CASE STUDIES Driving license We established a reliable and secure document, in credit card size, to : guarantee the authenticity of the Driving License secure the revenue of the State by the actual collection of taxes And, by interacting with a database, to : track the driver s profile make Driving License records more reliable the solution A centralised licensing database (web or local) A reliable printing process : once the license has been created no duplicate can be made without authorisation (workflow). The Driving License includes security elements : hologram, embossed background, UV printing in two or three colours, micro line printing... and can be easily recognised by the local police. An RFID chip, to securely record personal data as well as the holder s fingerprints. A simple and fast editing process : Approval of the files submitted (official documents, photos...) If approved, files are saved to the Edigraph Pro-Véripass database Emission of the license on a PVC card using the Datacard CD800 CLM printer. Bank microfinance institution In order to secure and speed up the processing of customer requests in each branch network, banks in sub-saharan Africa are opting for a simple solution to recognise their customers via a secure bank identification card. the solution When the account is opened, the customer s ID information is stored in the EDIGRAPH database connected to each bank s server. The card is created and delivered instantly to the agency. The solution requires a secure card with the bank logo in 2D hologram, a DATACARD CD800 or FARGO printer and the EDIGRAPH-PRO software. An efficient and secure process : The customer arrives at the counter in their local branch and presents his/her card. The card is authenticated by the agent. The verification of the customer s ID is made much easier and their waiting time is reduced. This application does not require any changes to existing networks or banking systems. 11 5 - OUR RANGE OF IDENTIFICATION PRODUCTS Cards without use of technology SCOPUS provides; Bank card sized (86 x 54 mm) pre-printed PVC cards using the company s graphics and visual security elements (shaded background, micro lines only to be seen with a looking glass, UV printing in 1, 2 or 3 colours, holograms...). Cards using technology SCOPUS provides : Pre-printed RFID MIFARE contactless cards to ISO/CEI 7810 standards The memory capacity of the chip allows the storage of a good quality colour photo and two fingerprints with a significant volume of variable textual data. Its capacity and architecture also allow it to host several independant and totally secure applications. 13 OUR PRODUCTS The «Flashcarte Pro Kit» case. The transportable acquisition kit «Flashcarte Pro» provided by SCOPUS is a complete identification and authentication system. It enables you to : Run a reliable and rapid census of a given population Deliver secure multifunctional professional cards This card can be used for : Visual ID of persons Access control to secured areas Clocking in and out Access to regulated access security zones such as in airports Biometric authentication The transportable acquisition kit Flashcarte Pro integrates : A portable PC with pre-installed Edigraph software and Véripass encoding module A high-resolution webcam A fingerprint sensor A signature tablet A Mifare coupler The system can function in connected mode using an existing network or autonomously if there is no network available (isolated area, network down...). The system relies on the use of highly secure memory cards and a microprocessor enabling you to store ID information regarding the cardholder (texts, photo...) as well as biometric authentication elements. The cards used are Mifare 4 Ko cards. These cards are personalised and encoded with a printer such as DATACARD CD800CLM which connects to the USB port in «Flashcarte Pro Kit». Authentication of the card using digital fingerprints of the cardholder is done by using a station or mobile phone (PDAs, smartphones), which allow reading of the chip.
