1 Software Announcement PayFix An Automated Repair Package for Payments Processed Through Any CBT Software Overview PayFix, an automated repair package for payments processed through any CBT software, repairs outgoing and incoming S.W.I.F.T. payments. It is plugged-in at the customer site and brought to production with minimum configuration overhead. PayFix is based on the most secure and reliable technologies on the market for the automated repair of payments, including: MQSeries LOGOS-CSE The design concept of PayFix results in a generic unit, which is modular and is scalable on both the system level and the software component level. Its open architecture ensures that future plug-ins can be conceived and added. Each subcomponent of PayFix communicates through the MQSeries, allowing a maximum of flexibility for future enhancements. Data integrity and long-term save-storage of messages is ensured by the usage of the Oracle relational database system. Subcomponents of PayFix include: Manual Repair Station (MRS) Messages not repaired automatically by PayFix component are directly routed to the MRS. Operator staff can then display and correct messages manually with the interactive support of FieldFix, which embeds a huge knowledge base, before they are sent forward for further automatic processing. Audit and Scoring Tool (AST) The AST allows you to audit and track down any enhancement to the message performed, either automatically or manually. In addition to auditing, the AST performs statistical analysis of the quality of the traffic sent and received by the bank. Among other features, bank Profiles are developed from a Wizard to: Identify recurrent repairs Feed a billing application Verify back-charges received from correspondents The products in this announcement are available as a part of the IBM Developer Sales Channel Software Remarketing program.
