3 Session Learning Objectives At the end of this session participants will be able to 1. Create a team-based approach to cataloguing buildings and developing a comprehensive commissioning program 2. Apply the EBCx process to a portfolio of diverse, centrally managed buildings 3. Develop portfolio-wide strategies to reduce operating costs and energy use 4. Apply lessons learned by portfolio owners for implementing a complex, long-term commissioning plan 3

Sustainability will be the major theme of the 21 st century, and Penn State is already establishing itself as a leader. 11 OPP Facts (at University Park) - Office of Physical Plant (OPP) employs over 1,300 full-time Technical Service and Staff workers - The University Park Campus comprises over 8,000 acres, and more than 900 buildings - The University Park Campus buildings total almost 20 million gross square feet, valued at approximately $4,830,890, general purpose classrooms & instructional labs; 9,000 offices; and 3,700 street and walk lights 11
