REVISED - Closing Date: The closing date has been extended from May 13, 2016 to 12:00 Noon, Local Time, May 19, ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION - Disk Available For the reference of bidders, a disk containing the specifications and drawings related to this project is now available to all purchasers of the tender documents from the Purchasing and Materials Management Division office located on the 19 th floor, West Tower, 100 Queen Street West, Toronto. The office is open from 8:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. 3. REVISED: Section 2 - Information for Bidders, Subsection 6.2 Mandatory Submission Requirements Prior to Award Under A: Experience and Qualifications Form, the First paragraph is revised to read as follows: Please revise this section to be: "In order to be considered for award, the Bidder must have completed as General Contractor (including testing and commissioning), and must have achieved Substantial Performance as defined in the Construction Lien Act of the construction or complete upgrade of at least one (1) baseball field project in Ontario within the past ten (10) years with a minimum dollar value of $400, Canadian Dollars (excluding taxes)." 1 of 11

Alternate Price Item AP-4.4 Asphalt Paving Parking Lot Expansion is to include Mobilization and Demobilization costs, security safety fencing, and all necessary items required for the parking lot expansion work. 5. 3 Q2. Could you please confirm that the requirements to be considered for award on your Call Document Summary will be strictly adhered to? I am referring to the Bidder must have completed at least (2) baseball field projects with a min value of $400k. Can other sportsfields, lesser valued baseball field work and overall associated experience be considered as well? A2. 4 City of Toronto Page 1 of General 1. Conform to Section Electrical-General Requirements. 2. Provide electrical luminaires and floodlights and systems scheduled, complete with lamps, ballasts and necessary accessories required for their installation and performance. 2.0 Materials 1. Catalogue reference numbers given for individual luminaire types are to be supplied as specified. 2. H.I.D. lamp ballasts (Metal Halide, High Pressure Sodium, etc.) will comply with CSA Spec. C22-2 No. 66 including amendments for outdoor operation where applicable, and will be compatible with fixture and lamp assembly which they serve. Shells of all H.I.D. lamp holders will be grounded. 3. Acceptable ballast manufacturers are: 3.0 Shop Drawings 4.0 Lamps a) Venture b) Universal Magnetek c) Philips-Advance d) Osram/Sylvania 1. Conform to the requirements of Section Prepare and electronically submit shop drawings in a pdf format of equipment required for review. (Refer to the General Conditions of the contract). All shop drawings submitted for review must be reviewed and stamped by the electrical subcontractor prior to the submission. Submit for review a brochure containing illustrations of all products. Illustrations to be complete showing dimensions, light distribution and mounting requirements. Illustrations to be noted to indicate special features and finishes. 1. Provide luminaires with a full complement of clear lamps, unless otherwise specified. 2. H.I.D. lamps will be of the type recommended by the manufacturer of the fixture in which they are to be installed, and compatible with ballasts installed. 3. Acceptable lamp manufacturers are: a) General Electric b) Osram/Sylvania c) Venture 4 of 11

The listing in this specification of any article, material operation or method requires that the contractor will provide each item listed of the quality and subject to the qualifications noted. 2. All materials, apparatus or equipment which are called for on the drawings or in the specifications by trade name or the name of a particular manufacturer, or by catalogue references, are the materials, apparatus or equipment which are to be used by the contractor in the preparation of their bid. 3. Names are mentioned in the specifications are to furnish a definite basis for the original bid to provide a balanced tender and to more clearly describe the quality in the tender price. 4. Any similar (equal) products may be offered as non-specified alternates, with the cost differential clearly delineated on the tender form. The base tendered amount will include the specified products only. 5. For a particular luminaire to be considered for review, the proposed alternate product will operate with generic, consumable replacement components (i.e. lamps and ballasts). The IESNA formatted performance data for the proposed alternate luminaire will be provided as produced by an independent testing laboratory, for each of the luminaires proposed and will be included with the tender submission. Alternates submitted without the required documentation will not be reviewed. 6. The electrical consultant will review all proposed alternate products with the tender review and prior to the award of the contract. 6.0 Floodlights for South Baseball Diamond 1. The floodlights for the baseball diamond will be 1000 watt, 347 volt metal halide, sports flood light, with controlled optics and beam control. Refer to Section The floodlights are to be supplied with clear 1000 watt metal halide lamps, an impact resistant tempered glass lens, a crossarm mounting bracket and CWA ballast, approved for 347 volt operation. 3. Each floodlight is to be factory prewired with 10 of 600 volt cabtire cable. 4. Provide a stainless steel safety cable with each floodlight and securely fasten to the crossarm with a minimum amount of slack in the cable. 5. Floodlights are to be supplied as per the pole/floodlight schedule in the specifications. 6. Acceptable floodlight manufacturers are: Hubbell Lighting #SLS-1000-H-1-X-6-12C66-L-SG-SLSC Lithonia Lighting #TSP-1000M-GP24XFX-347-C410-SCK3-CSA 5 of 11
6 City of Toronto Page 3 of Poles and Crossarms for South Baseball Diamond 1. StressCrete pre-stressed concrete poles style 210 with 3" X 4" structural box crossarms and tamper proof hand hole covers made of cast metal. 2. Poles and crossarms are to be supplied as per schedule. 3. All connections at the top of the poles are to be enclosed in P.V.C. junction boxes, properly supported. 4. Cabtire cables are to be terminated in the boxes using P.V.C. cabtire connectors. 5. All joints are to be made with Ideal wing nuts and taped with Scotch #88 vinyl allweather tape. No exposed joints will be permitted. 6. All wire within the pole will be supported at the top of the pole with strain relief support grips. 7. Securely fasten all exposed cabtire cables to the crossarms with T&B multi-lok stainless steel nylon coated self locking cable ties. 8. Standard nylon or P.V.C. ty-wraps are not acceptable. 9. All wire within the poles will be #10 RWU stranded unless otherwise noted. 8.0 Set-Up and Night Aiming 1. The floodlight manufacturer is to supply with the approval drawings, a computerized print-out and aiming diagram for the baseball diamond. 2. The control of spill light is important on this site. There will be no more than a maximum of 1 lux of maintained horizontal direct illuminance, 60 metres from the play lines of the baseball diamond. The floodlight manufacturer must verify the cut-off performance of their product, with a computer print-out supplied with the shop drawing review submission. 3. Upon completion of the project, the manufacturer's representative and the contractor must provide a night-time demonstration with the owner s representative to verify the illumination levels and control required. 4. The contractor must include the cost of the required labour and lift device to complete this verification. 5. The lighting for this facility has been designed in accordance with the current IESNA standards for average maintained illumination levels and maximum to minimum uniformity ratios. 6. Presetting the floodlight aiming angles to the manufacturer's computer aiming diagram does not relieve the contractor of the obligation to ensure proper floodlight target aiming and set-up of the facility. 6 of 11

The contractor must include sufficient labour and equipment to provide the proper after dark, target aiming to equal the floodlight manufacturer's computer print-out summary before arranging the night-time verification. 8. Substantial completion will NOT be certified until the lighting levels have been verified and accepted on site by the owner's representative. 7 of 11
