5 SCOPE OF WORK NSLAND71 SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF DEMOUNTABLE WALL SYSTEM PORT MERSEY Demountable Wall Partitions 1. General: Nova Scotia Lands Inc. (NS Lands) is a provincial crown corporation tasked with the repurposing of the former Bowater Mersey Paper site, now Port Mersey Commercial Park, near Liverpool, N.S. This work includes the renovations of existing offices at the site. To this end NS Lands is soliciting Request for Quotation for the supply and installation of a non-progressive demountable wall system as per the following scope and specifications and floor plan. Proponents are asked to complete the attached RFQ form and provide a lump sum price. Scope: Partitions will be installed over an existing vinyl floor on a concrete base and extend at full height to an existing T-bar ceiling. Supply includes: Prefinished gypsum board panels mounted to both sides of framing, sound insulation, ceiling track, floor track with 610mm (24 ) single glaze tempered glass panels above, doors, trim and hardware, transitions to existing walls, electrical and communications boxes and all other components required for a complete floor to ceiling wall system. Finished walls shall be structurally stable and free from vibration when subjected to impact loads of the type which would occur under normal use. Overall wall thickness to be 89mm (3-1/2 ) 2. Products: Gypsum board Panels Width 1219 mm (48 ) Height 3127 mm (10' 3 +/- 1/8 ). Dimensions to be verified by proponent. Execution

6 1. Take site measurements of existing building to confirm dimensions and alignment of surfaces, prior to starting work. 2. Install partitions and all component parts, in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and as specified herein. 3. Erect partitions, plumb, square and level. Accurately fit and fasten to abutting surfaces. Adjust to irregularities in floor levels to ensure level installation. 4. Correct misalignment of exposed trim. 5. Adjust position of door frames for proper door operation. 6. Remove and replace panels and other components that are damaged, improperly installed, or soiled beyond satisfactory cleaning. 7. Clean soiled panel and trim surfaces after installation. 8. Clean floor, ceiling, and wall surfaces soiled as a result of work NOTE: Mandatory Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. to establish and verify dimensions, quantities, and scope of work.
