Plexxus Customer hospitals include: Campbellford Memorial Hospital, Haliburton Highlands Health Services, Mackenzie Health, Markham Stouffville Hospital, Northumberland Hills Hospital, Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Ross Memorial Hospital, Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Southlake Regional Health Centre, and Stevenson Memorial Hospital. We are recruiting a Manager, Marketing & Communications to lead and support corporate and project related communications initiatives. This role is responsible for the identification of communication needs across the business, the development and rollout of communication strategies and detailed plans, as well as the creation of communication and marketing strategy and materials that raise awareness of the business both internally and externally and builds support for and adoption of planned changes. Accountabilities: Launch, develop and support internal initiatives as well as larger, transformational initiatives that affect both Plexxus and its Member hospitals, through the development and delivery of effective communications Promote and validate Plexus as an industry leader through leveraging leading communication, marketing and design practices Manage the development of turnkey communication tools Engage and inform internal and external stakeholders, through development of communication and marketing strategies and plans, including development of communication content and key messages.

2 Support and advise functional areas in planning, writing and delivering communications related to various activities and initiatives. Execute communications and marketing programs to build brand recognition and awareness. Presentations & Projects Understand and identify change-related impacts on stakeholders and proactively identify communication needs Develops and provides communications materials for other priority projects as assigned Develop materials required to bring to life strategies and tactics related to various campaigns and special projects Develop and support external presentations including appropriate lead time and revisions as well as content development and delivery Marketing & Stakeholder Relations Develop and implement visual identity guidelines with buy-in and input from Senior Management Team Maintenance of online brand management via Plexxus intranet, Customer Portal, and external website. Develop and implement marketing strategy that promotes and validates Plexxus as industry leader including marketing collateral and pitch documents Develops marketing materials to highlight Plexxus services and initiatives Implement actions following the strategic brand review to develop and demonstrate current value proposition, and how Plexxus can effectively serve the needs of our current and future customers Develop and execute marketing materials and programs to build brand recognition and awareness. Implement User Experience design principles to create valuable, desirable outcomes for our customers related to Plexxus systems and services Search Directory, Customer Portal/Knowledge Base, Member Portal Communications Strategy Work with Leadership Team to create a communication landscape documenting risks, barriers and opportunity areas. Develop and implement strategic communications framework to elevate business communications and to provide clarity of Plexxus service offerings to customers Plan, develops and deliver customized communications coaching and training for various levels of the organization as identified

3 Work closely with across functional areas on wide gamut of projects in an advisory role related to communications. Ensure communications are consistent Plexxus messaging and branding guidelines, key organizational messages and visual identity guidelines. Liaises with relevant teams, executives and senior leaders to deliver consistent communications content and strategy to internal and external stakeholders, Hospitals, government, and other relevant groups Liaises and engages with external partners in the development of communications strategy, materials and activities Develop creative ideas and concepts into comprehensive integrated programs, services or campaigns. Develop visually engaging original designs for both online and offline channels including web/digital, video, newsletters, annual reports, information sheets, print and digital ads, and presentations Incorporate research, CRM data and online trends in targeted designs for key audiences Coordinate reviews and work collaboratively with communications team members, vendors and printers Training & Policy Development Delivery of internal communication training including communication planning and presentation delivery, and communication tools. Develop and implement Media Relations Implement Communications policies to mitigate reputational risk Corporate Communications Content proofing, layout and design of Annual Report Website maintenance and updates as required Provide leadership and oversight to Employee Recognition Program (Ovation Awards, e- Recognition, Length of Service) Intranet oversight to content planning, maintenance, and training Town Hall Presentations content and presentation development Results reporting for Employee Engagement Survey Direct Reports Manage 1 direct report, full-time employee Qualifications: 5-7 years of corporate marketing and communications managerial experience in a large organization undergoing transformational change that affects multiple stakeholder groups. Post- secondary degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing and/or Integrated Marketing Communications

4 Experience identifying communication needs, developing communication strategies and detailed plans, and writing communication content, ensuring consistency of key messages. Experience measuring the effectiveness of communications and recommending continuous improvement strategies.
