1 School Management Nota: The Peruvian government has been seeking in recent years the best way to ensure optimum operating conditions in schools. Here is a hypothetical scenario that seeks to achieve the same objective. 1. History. UGELs are subsidiaries of regional governments that are responsible for the administrative management of the schools assigned to their sphere of influence and whose purpose is to ensure that these have the services and the necessary physical infrastructure to operate optimally. To achieve this purpose it is necessary to have detailed information about each school, with a minimum requirement the following: Basic data. Name, Address, Current Principal, Total students by educational level, and total built-up area and legal status of the land. Identification and status of services. What services are available (water, drain, power, etc.) and what state are. Identification and status of the available spaces. Educational spaces available, the material used in its construction and overall. Map with the location and reference. To register this information and keep updated an application will be developed that will be mainly used by the personnel responsible for the maintenance of schools. Segmentation: Public Education Sector. Targeting: Primary and Secondary Education. Positioning: App for use by maintenance personnel. 2. Persona. Name / Job Title Competencies Carlos. Maintenance Supervisor. Background 40 year old. Married with 2 children. Civil engineer with 15 years of experience. Power User. Proactive. Work in team. Innovative. Job Responsibilities 1. Maintenance Scheduling (weekly). 2. Programming School visits (weekly). 3. Visit to school and meeting with the director (daily). 4. Update master data schools (daily). 5. Monitoring maintenance activities (daily). 6. Training the staff of schools (on demand). 7. Preparation of reports for the planning area (monthly). Main Goals Needs Ensure that all schools ready for the start of the school year are. Raise awareness care infrastructure. I need to update the data of schools soon. I need to better schedule visits. I need to select best suppliers.
2 Pain Points Director did not have time. Operating maintenance staff untrained. Infrastructure in disrepair. The infrastructure is not care. Lack of public services in the localities. Stakeholders Maintenance manager. Principal. Technical Staff. Foreman. Janitor. Parents. 3. User Experience Journey. 4. Mock up. Here are the mock up of the display function Master Data schools. In this challenge only we get to develop the prototype for this functionality.
3 Note: for lack of space does not include the other mock up. 5. App. a. Data Model. I used as a model metadata.xml file that was generated to create an app with the odata service SALESORDERXX as it defines a parent-child relationship similar to the relationship between the school and its educational spaces.
4 b. App build. I followed the following steps: Create an app using master-detail template and edmx file prepared before. Both the header and the detail incorporate an image of the school. In detail use 4 icons tabs filter. For basic data, availability data services, educational spaces and location. In the 3rd icon tab filter use a table to show the associated educational spaces to school. An image for each space is included. In the 4th icon tab filter, i used vbox to show the reference and the image of the location of the school. I added an Edit button at the footer toolbar. Using Layout Editor

Educational Spaces. Including images. d. Run with Mock Data. Here are the screens of the application built when run it with mock data:
