2 Bio of Cedric Z. King, PHR Cedric Z. King, PHR, SHRM-CP, is a native of Darien and the Manager of Community Relations at Pinova, Member of the Symrise Group. He is a 1995 graduate of The University of South Carolina, Coastal Carolina College in Conway, South Carolina, with a Bachelor s of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Criminal Justice. His Pinova career spans over 18 years with responsibilities ranging from operations, quality control, process operations and logistics supervision, safety management, human resources and public relations management. In addition, his current role Manager of Community Relations for the business, representing Pinova in Georgia and Florida. He serves as a board member of the Brunswick-Glynn County Economic Development Authority as Vice Chair, Jacksonville Florida Chamber 2016 Board of Governors and 2015/2016 Trustee, Golden Isles SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) as Diversity Chair, United Way of Coastal Georgia, SHRM Georgia Governmental Affairs Committee, Georgia SHRM Advocacy Team Member (SHRM A-Team), Glynn Academy School Council, Coastal Georgia Basketball Coastal Georgia Comets (Founder), the Advisory Boards of Grace and Truth as well as Communities in Schools of Glynn County, and was a former board member of (McSEED) McIntosh Sustainable Environment and Economic Development Board Chair in Darien, Southern Forest World in Waycross and the Jane Macon School Council. He is married to Crystal Brown King and the father of two, CeKayla and Cedric Zachary King II.
