1 PRESS RELEASE Vienna / Wiesbaden, 29 May 2012 New software for young generation Wohnbaugruppe Ennstal, one of the large construction and housing co-operatives in Austria, is introducing the HR management solution P&I LOGA. Thus it is holding true to its motto - People are the measure of all things which it is also firmly committed to vis-à-vis its own employees. Five construction and housing entities belong to Wohnbaugruppe Ennstal in Liezen, including the non-profit housing co-operative Wohn- und Siedlungsgenossenschaft Ennstal. The Austrian company with a long tradition has been building and managing apartments and buildings for all areas of life since Together with commercial locations, public service buildings and garages, today its property inventory encompasses almost 35,000 administrative units with an upward tendency. That dynamic development is also reflected in the internal administrative structures of the entire Wohnbaugruppe Ennstal organisation. That is why the company has taken advantage of the advent of a new generation in the personnel department by daring to take a major leap ahead towards a software solution with future viability. After decades of using the same software, it was high time for innovation, explains Gert Vieider, Head of IT at Wohnbaugruppe Ennstal. We wanted to

2 have a modern application from one single source in line with our young staff in the personnel department. Wohnbaugruppe Ennstal now makes use of the entire portfolio of P&l. The company initially introduced payroll accounting for its 400 employees and building management companies, followed by time management and the P&I HCM web portal including all HR management modules. Among other things, it enables us to make it possible for our employees to independently record and process travel and vacation applications in a decentralised manner, says Vieider. One criterion for the decision in favour of P&I software was the integrated digital archive - including the possibility of encrypted filing of sensitive personnel data. Up to now we had to make do with various supplementary programmes and the corresponding interfaces. Now the integrated solution has made that superfluous and simplified our processes tremendously, explains the Head of IT. Laborious, timeconsuming handling has become a thing of the past. Besides the user-friendly interface, what was especially attractive to the Ennstal organisation was the wide variety of options in the area of personnel controlling / management accounting. For example, we prepare comparisons with the previous year, monthly costs for the individual departments or various salary projections, says Vieider.
