It offers insurance courses and qualifications for insurance markets and ancillary industries. Currently, its students are based in Zimbabwe, Botswana and Mozambique. The Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe (IIZ) is a professional insurance organisation and an independent examining body whose core function is to promote efficiency and improvement in business practice amongst its members as well as the delegates it trains. Besides being an examining body, the Institute facilitates short courses, workshops, seminars, and conferences as part of continuing professional development (CPD) to industry in general.
