Since its modern renovation in 2010, the old Palace continues its legacy of international exchange by hosting events, such as the GEN Summit 2018.

Sala do Risco The Sala do Risco (800m 2 ) is located next to the courtyard of the Pátio da Galé, and will host the 2018 GEN Expo.

5 5 - gensummit.org GEN Summit 2018 Venue Pátio da Galé Pátio da Galé is a historical venue in the heart of Lisbon, located on the Western side of the Praça do Comércio. Prior to the earthquake of 1755, the Pátio da Galé primarily served as the Royal Palace, as well as the central authority for overseas trade. Since its modern renovation in 2010, the old Palace continues its legacy of international exchange by hosting events, such as the GEN Summit The main stage will be located inside the grand courtyard at the centre of the Pátio da Galé. Sala do Risco The Sala do Risco (800m 2 ) is located next to the courtyard of the Pátio da Galé, and will host the 2018 GEN Expo. During the 15th century, the Sala do Risco served as a site for ship construction. The recent renovation respects the hall s long and narrow original structure, while creating a modern venue perfectly suited for exhibitions and showrooms alike. Pousada de Lisboa The Pousada Hotel, which is part of the Pestana Group, sits in the Praça do Comércio overlooking the Tejo River. Prior to its acquisition by the Pestana Group, the Pousada Hotel was home to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Both the Masterclass Workshops and the Unconferences will take place here.
