Environment, Health and Safety Coordinator for all sites of the Company. Head of Marketing and Sales Operations (HMSO) January 01, 2005 Opsonin Pharma Limited Till July 07, 2007 Opsonin Pharma Limited was one of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh as per IMS Geneva. Major job responsibilities were to achieve the business goals of the company within approved expenditure budget. The strategic business units of the company reporting to HMSO were as follows: National Retail Sales, National Institutional Sales, International Marketing and AgroVet Business. A team of about 700 staff were employed in Marketing, Sales and Distribution departments of the company.

2 Managing Director January 01, 2004 Greenland Pharmaceuticals Limited Till Dec 2004 Greenland Pharmaceuticals Limited was the first manufacturer of Haemodialysis solutions in Bangladesh. It supplied the finished products directly to the hospitals and clinics which are specialized in carrying out kidney dialysis. Major responsibilities were to convert a sick company belonging to a particular group of sponsors to a profitable company after transfer of ownership to a new group of sponsors. A team of about 30 staff representing Marketing, Sales, Distribution, and Manufacturing departments reported to the Managing Director. Executive Director, Health Care April 1999 Advanced Chemical Industries Limited Till Nov Tejgaon Industrial Area Dhaka-1208 Tel: Advanced Chemical Industries Limited (ACI) came into being in 1992 after the Bangladesh subsidiary of pharmaceutical multinational ICI divested its shares to the local management. Apart from local manufacturing and marketing of branded generic pharmaceutical formulations, ACI represents as exclusive distributor and marketer in Bangladesh of global pharmaceutical multinationals Astra Zeneca of UK, Eli Lilly of USA and UCB of Belgium under the Pharmaceutical Business Unit as well as Bayer Diagnostics of Germany, Hospitex of France, and Shield Diagnostics of UK under the Diagnostics and Medical Devices Business Unit. Specific job responsibilities included strategy formulation of all marketing and sales campaigns in the business units of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Business, such as, preparation of annual sales budget, preparation of product wise marketing and promotional plans, planning and launching new products, marketing research and prescription audit activities and organizing and implementing clinical meetings and scientific seminars. It may be mentioned that 6 positions reported to the Executive Director, Health Care.
