2 Dear Exhibitor, You are now signed up for the 15th Cheese and Dairy Products Show, and we would like to thank you for the trust you have placed in us. It's now time for you to start getting ready for the show, particularly as far as communications are concerned. To help you, we've created this guide. In it, you'll find all the information you need to take part as effectively as possible and make the most of your presence at the show. Feel free to contact us for any advice or if you need more information about how these tools are to be used. See you soon! Isabelle and Rania

4 1 Publicise your presence

5 Invite your current and prospective clients Having a stand is great. But ensuring that people know about it is even better. Your aim: get visitors to come to you! Let your current and prospective clients as well as your partners know that you will be there with your products by sending them an and an invitation in early January You could specify the following in your letter, for example: - Your stand number (obligatory ) - New product launches - Your events, with descriptions, dates and times - Awards you have recently won - Your website, Facebook page, etc. Points to remember invitations grant people: - Free entry to the Cheese and Dairy Products Show - A Visitor badge that they ll receive before the show so they can get to your stand more quickly

6 Services available Let people know that you will be at the Cheese and Dairy Products Show by using the free tools available in your Exhibitor Area. > Exhibition logo Feature the logo on your various documents and adverts, together with your stand number. > The show's digital banner Put it on your website, in your signature, in your e- mailshot campaigns, on your Facebook page, on Twitter, etc. And remember to include a link to the show's website:

7 Create a buzz on the social networks and follow us! As the Cheese and Dairy Products Show draws nearer, make sure that your current and prospective clients know that you will be there by talking about it on social media. Large numbers of professionals make use of these new means of communication: don't ignore them! Here, you'll find a few tips and tricks for raising your profile on social media. Tip 1 Add the Cheese and Dairy Products Show's official hashtag to your tweets to link them to communication about the event: #salondufromage Tip 2 Give us details of your official Twitter account and/or Facebook page so that we can mention you in our messages. Tip 3 Follow us on:

8 BEFORE THE SHOW Download the logos and banners provided free of charge by the show from your Exhibitor Area Let people know that you will be at the show on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Add the "I'm there" banner to your signatures and your website Follow account on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram so you can respond to news about the event and share it. AT THE SHOW Post on Facebook and tweet, reminding people that you are at the show and what your stand number is Keep communicating every day: for example, the start of an event or a photo of your stand. Remember to use the #salondufromage hashtags in your tweets so they'll feature in the show's newsfeed or share Facebook posts which talk about your company! Encourage clients to tweet about your stand and your event Your checklist for creating a buzz on the social networks

10 Favourites Competition 2nd edition Following on from the successful Favourites Competition in 2016 (75 products registered 10 prizewinners), we're launching the second edition. Its aim is to reward the 10 "Favourite" products or services from among all the products registered The product can be a new one, or one that already features in the range. These products will be submitted to a panel of professionals and blind-judged on a number of criteria: organoleptic properties, appearance and characteristics (unique combinations, avant-garde, elegance, regional), packaging, etc. How will the prize-winning products be advertised? A communications springboard thanks to visibility both before and at the show: dedicated e-newsletters, special page in the official catalogue, products exhibited at the show in a high-footfall area, special POS advertising for prize-winning exhibitors, etc. An increase in the number of press articles: the results announced in the press, showcasing in the press pack, etc. The products will be easier to find for visitors to the show How to take part Register for free, directly online (3 products maximum) Send your product(s) to Isabelle Fabre Comexposium / SFPL avenue du Général de Gaulle Puteaux The results will be announced to the press in mid-january Schedule Registration: 23 October to 29 November 2017 Products to be received: 1s Decembre to 6 December 2017 Panel meeting: 8 December 2017 Announcement of results: mid-january 2018 at a press briefing in Paris

11 Register your new products Did you know that nearly 60% of visitors come to the show in search of new products? Are you intending to present new products at your stand? Send us a description of your products and we will share information about them in the press pack and at How? Fill in the online form directly, available in your Exhibitor Area Include a high-quality photo Submit the form When? From 15 November 2017

12 Declare your events and other activities that you're organising at the show Be sure to let us know about events you are organising during the show, such as samplings, workshops or conferences. All the events will be grouped together in the show's events calendar which visitors and journalists will be able to access at Why stage events and share information about them? An original event specifically designed for your products will attract visitors to your stand. Wide-scale promotion in advance of the show will help visitors get ready for their visit and make a note of your event in their diaries. 13 Communicate with the media Get involved in the show's press relations! The Cheese and Dairy Products Show regularly publishes press releases and packs both in France and in a number of other countries. In 2016, more than 280 articles featured the 216 edition, and 116 journalists came to the show to meet you and discover your products. If you want to feature in our documents, feed us some information! Before the show => Publish news about you and your products for free on Send us your press releases: we will upload them to and use them in press documents (press releases, press packs, etc.) Sending address: isabelle.fabre@comexposium.com - (PDF or Word format / files must not exceed 2 MB) Tip: Remember to include your stand number and a press contact on your documents.

14 Communicate with the media During the show => Use the Press Office, the go-to area for journalists. A press rack at your disposal Drop off your press releases or USB sticks at the press office the day before the show opens. Press racks are available free of charge, for journalists. You will need 30 copies on the day the show opens drop them off no later than Saturday, 24 February The exhibitor guarantees that the organiser is the owner of all of the rights and authorisations needed to publish all or part of the items submitted (in particular photos, documents and the graphic components that make them up) so that they can be distributed using the methods described above. The exhibitor shall remain solely responsible for its documents and guarantees the organiser against any proceedings which might be instituted against them as a result of its documents being published. The organiser reserves the right to refuse to publish a particular document without having to pay the exhibitor any compensation and without having to provide a reason for its refusal. Display of the day's events and other activities Events and other activities organised by the show and/or exhibitors will be displayed at the Press Office on a daily basis, A good way to get journalists to come to your stand!
